The Webby Forest

As you, Flora, Mark and Darwin enter the forest you're welcomed with a giant web with several motionless cocoons decorated the web which made the Nidoqueen shudder. "T-this place is giving me the creeps already...!" You nod a few times and tried press on but that wasn't going to be easy as this whole forest was littered with different sizes of webs and the emptiness that came from the trees... There was no sound of singing flying types. The only sounds that you could hear were your feet stepping in the ground and the Aggron's rumbling belly as it digests the infected inside. The eerie surroundings unnerved you but you pressed on knowing something must be done with infection that had spread across this land and the only clue you have was finding the Grumpig that came here...

Your party traveled to the center of the silent forest and maneuvering through and around the webs that covered this forest and you could hear two different sounds... They were muffled but they're sounds! You take a good look and spot a large web and two cocoons hanging them it and they were moving! "I found something! You called out to your comrades and they hurried over to witness what you saw! Two travelers were struggling in the webs but since the cocoons are very thick you couldn't tell what they were but you knew that they could be helpful to your quest and looked at your friends "So does anyone have an idea of how to get these guys free?" You ponder about that when a shrill voice screeches out "There's no way to get free!"

You gasp and look up and the others jump back a bit as a large Ariados comes down from the tree tops "I must congratulate you on making it this far but like these two snacks are gonna end up in my stomach!" You growled a bit and fired off a Flamethrower and Darwin reacts with Flash Cannon but the spider dodges the two and fires String Shot but that gets frozen by Mark's Blizzard. The huge spider gets annoyed and fires Spider Web and sealing your party within the center of the forest! You tired Flamethrower again and Darwin charges in with Iron Tail but the Ariados dodges the flames again and grabs the Aggron's tail! Your eyes went wide as the metal reptile's body gets encased with String Shot and is tossed to the web with the other cocoons! Mark tried to attack while the arachnid had its back turned but his Ice Punch doesn't freeze it and the large bear is quickly wrapped up and tossed with the others... You swallow nervously and look back at Flora who is paralyzed with fear so you tired to hit it with Flamethrower but it missed again! How could it not hit but you see it didn't dodge it... It used Protect!

You tried again with Flamethrower as the spider used Protect again! Your stream of fire continued to strike the weakened barrier as your tail tapped in a different pattern. Flora gasped as she noticed this and tried to focus on making a Substitute but you run out of steam and flame dissipates and the spider fires off a String Shot at her and wrapping her up in it before throwing the cocoon with the others... You whimper a bit as you didn't have much strength left and the Ariados looms closer...
