The Voyage Home.

We made good time on the way back to port. Personally I think Kasar wanted to get out of imperial waters as fast as she could. I let the girls go out on deck but I had asked them not to go below deck for any reason. I paid a gold for each of them so the sailors could enjoy themselves when we got back home. I spent my the last afternoon learning to steer the boat. Not much to it really. It wasn't like I was in a battle and had to make major course corrections. I just had to keep her steady and focus on a point on the horizon and keep an eye on the compass in case the wind veered us off course.

"Hey." Nisha said as she came up.

"Hey Nisha." I smiled and asked Kasar to take back over. Nisha looked off the back of the ship at the setting sun.

"Missing home?" I asked as I walked up beside her. The setting sun was beautiful out here on the open sea.

"Not home, just my sister." She shrugged. "I never thanked you for getting me out of the empire."

"You don't have to but your welcome."

"No. I mean really thanked you." She touched my hand and looked at me with those pretty purple eyes.

"You don't have to do that." I shook my head at her.

"It's okay. I am of age." She smiled.

"What is of age to an elf?" I joked.

"Thirty." She gave a little shrug.

"Wait, your thirty years old." I shook my head. She was older then me by a decade.

"Yes. Well until next month." She smiled.

"You look really good for your age." I looked her over again.

"Thank you." She blushed slightly.

"I appreciate the sentiment but I am pretty sure your sister would kill me."

"She probably would, but only if I told her." Nisha smiled.

"Maybe another time. There isn't a place we could go on this boat for a little privacy." I glanced back at Kasar who quickly looked away. I was sure she could hear everything we said. The best I could do was take her down to the cargo hold but she deserved better then to be fucked over a crate. Not that I didn't want to fuck her.

The girls looked over the bay as we passed by Thieves Landing and headed straight for the capital. The city never looked lovelier now that I felt a sort of connection to it. No matter where I went I always ended up back here again.

"Look." Aurora said as I saw a mermaid. I had never seen one before but they looked just a lovely as I had heard. She had green hair that helped would help blend in with seaweed and algae. Blue skin that was lighter on the front and darker on the back similar to some fish allow her to better blend in with the water. She wore a torn fishing net like a shirt having tied sea shells about it making it hard to see her nipples though I could just make them out. She looked at us with stunning green eyes and then went under the water.

"They always come north this time of year. They migrate with the fish to the warmer waters." Kasar said. I would have loved a closer look but I knew they could be dangerous if they felt threatened. I was glad when the ship finally docked and I was back on solid ground. I was used to be able to go where I liked so being stuck on a ship made me feel restless.

"So I guess this is goodbye for now." Kasar said coming down the ramp. "I am in your debt, anything you ever need or want. All you need to do is ask."

"Anything?" I teased and looked her over.

"If that is what you desire." She leaned in close and whispered in my ear. "You are not really my type but I wouldn't say no. Especially if you don't mind a girl or two join us. I am buying next time. I guess we will have to make this or home port for now. Maybe I will go legit and stop smuggling. Who knows. " She gave me a kiss on the cheek backed away and smiled and held out a bandanna. "This is for the elf to hide her collar."

"Thank you." I smiled and took it. I fixed it around Aurora's neck to hide her collar the best I could.

"Well this is where we part ways." Nisha smiled. "My family lives here in town."

"That is convenient. Let me guess. Your sisters doing?"

"Yep." Nisha smiled. "I hope to see you again."

"I am sure of it." I smiled and gave her a hug. I told her about Gregor's tavern and Tomen's shop. They both could point her in the right direction to find me. She headed off on her way.
