The Vanishing Clothes

Laura Garcia looked at the video clips she had been sent. Two videos of women in their home having their clothes just vanish.

The first was a young woman who had a video channel where she promoted fashion and personal electronics.

Her clothes started to vanish while she was doing a live-stream, and she was completely naked by the time she shut it off

The next was two roommates who had prepared to go out for the evening.

According to the email Laura received, the two did not film this, had no idea how they were filmed, or how this happened.

"Has to be some editing trick," said Laura to herself. "Clothes just don't vanish."

Her client was a lawyer who represented the three women. Both videos ended up on website whose server was local.

She slowed down the videos to see where the editing took place but saw nothing until she slowed it down frame by frame and saw what looked to be a shadowy figure coming in and out of frame when the clothes would vanish. "Has to be a trick. No way this is magic or some bullshit like that," she said, again just talking to herself.

The lawyer sent some background info. Turns out the blondes in the videos had dated the same guy, so that was something.

She did more investigation on the website, and thought she had a lead. She went to investigate.
