The University you're invited to.

Going through the portal blinded you for a second, but after minute your sight returned to you and before your eyes you see the campus. It's build in a form of architecture you've never seen before, but it makes you think of one of those high schools in some anime. Along the building you see gardens of exotic flowers and trees you've never seen before, it all makes this school look like a wonderful paradise. You look back to Charity as she seems to be watching your reaction.

"Wow! This place is incredible! Its like a beautiful painting!" You say in awe. This Mesmerra sure knows how to decorate if she made this place herself. Charity lets go of your hand as she smiles at you.

"I'm glad you like it here, I know I do. Anyway, you should head to the school's center garden. Just go straight through the doors after the entrance and you'll find it. That's where the orientation will be held and its starting soon. Goddess Mesmerra herself will welcome you all and address the rules during your stay. I, on the other hand, must return to my office. Its on the far left end by the infirmary. I do hope you'll come see me anytime to need help. Take care now." She says as she walks through the front doors and disappears from sight.

Well, guess you should head on in. You make your way to the center garden and again, you're in awe of the sight. The garden was lined with more exotic plants you've never seen before and the center of it all was a tree you're familiar with. Said tree was a coastal redwood. You remember having to do a research project about it in high school. The flora wasn't the only thing you noticed in here, but the other students as well. It looked like there were currently fifteen other here, some of them were human like you while others weren't. There were also elves, some beastfolk, and even a demon too. But the main thing you noticed was the fact that they're all women, and they're cute too. As much as you like the idea of spending a year with a bunch of cute girls, you wonder if you're in the wrong class.

You decide to worry about that for later. For now, you should try to mingle. As you make your way to the center, you bump into some one. She turned from the person she was talking to previously to you with a glare.

"Hey! Watch it!" You hear from her. You look who it is and see that its a cat girl. She had short orange hair with ears sticking out the top. Her eyes were a deep blue and her face seems soft, except for the frown she's looking at you with. She looks to be a foot shorter than you and has a petite hourglass figure. She wore a brown leather tunic that showed her midriff and tan skin, fingerless gloves that bared her claws, and leather pants that hugged her thighs.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention. It wasn't intentional I swear." You apologize. This seemed to calm her down at least. Then her expression changed from calm to confusion, as was the person she was talking to. The other woman is an elf that looked like she came from your world. She wore a black beanie that covered her long blonde hair that made her pointy ears stand out. She had beige eyes and orange makeup. She wore a baggy sweater and cargo pants that hid her figure and she was about as tall as you. The elf then walked up to you and stared sizing you up.

"Hey. Are you, like, a dude or something?" The elf asked. It looks like you're not the only one confused about yourself being here.

"Yes. I'm a guy, and it looks like I'm the only one here. I'm John by the way. Nice to meet you two." You introduce yourself, looking around midway through your sentence.

"Nice to bump into I guess. I'm Olivia." The cat girl said. Thankfully, she got over the bump earlier.

"I'm Veronica. Nice to meet you too, dude." The elf says as she gets closer, causing you to lean away from her.

"Sorry man. Back home, humans only existed in fairytales. So seeing you is, like, really bizarre." Veronica explains. You guess where she's from, humanity got switched with elves.

"That might also have to be that you're the only man here. We w ere led to believe that this was an women's only college." Olivia brings up.

"Yes, I noticed that when I entered the garden. Maybe I'm the first guy to show up. The counselor said that orientation would be starting soon. So the others that'll show up soon might be men too. Since we still got some time, mind if I join you too?" You ask. They both nod in agreement.

Over the next few minutes, you got to know a little more about Olivia and Veronica and where they both come from. In Olivia's world, it sounds like a fantasy setting. She described herself as what you'd call a rouge/monk class hybrid. Recently, her world had discovered an ancient vault that housed magitech that revolutionized her world. Her adventuring guild was tasked in cooperating with the explorers guild in finding more vaults. When she signed up for the exploration effort, she was turned away because her 'skill rating' was too low. After that she got her invitation, accepting it thinking it'll help increase her skill rating.

In Veronica's world, it was just as you thought. Its a lot like yours, but with elves. Veronica is an artist that sells her art and incense at a store her family owns. Lately, her family ran into debt and her father had to sell the store just to pay it off. She got the letter a week after that incident. Veronica is hoping that she'll pick up some new skills so she can reopen her family store.

After a while, the other students arrived, they were also women. It really looks like you're the only guy here. As soon as the whole class showed up. The doors closed and a figure appeared in the center of the garden.
