The Truth

Sam, of course, had to mesmerize the Receptionist, a very tired looking young man who Smiled weakly as he handed Sam the key-card to the room B14. Sam ascended the stairs, being careful to stay out of the sight of strangers, he could only go so far with his powers and it could be hard to explain why he was carrying an unconscious girl in his arms.

He found B14, beeping his card on the entrance promptly and walked in. Sam set Lily on the bed, she looked peaceful, despite the circumstances that had occurred that night. He couldn't help but roam around the room, pacing as he cursed to himself, Lucifer and God that he was the way he was.

Sam went over what he would do, what he would say and how he would say it, then he bit the bullet.
"I take from you your sin's of sloth and bring you back into the waking world." Sam gently took hold of her sleep and removed it slowly enough so that her awakening wouldn't be unpleasant. Lily's eyes slowly flickered open, she stretched and looked at Sam who was sat next to her, she took his hand "Hey." she said with a look of relief "Hi" he tried to hide his frown "I had the worst Nightmare ever..." she slowly sat up and stretched again, looking around the room as she did "Where are we?" Sam sighed, rubbing his eyes "The Deluxe." Lily seemed to switch on, the realization was enough to make her back up from him, She paused.

"It was real, wasn't it?" he hesitated, but he nodded eventually not making eye-contact or even moving "Those men?"
"They are gone." She exhaled her eyes becoming misty "Did you kill them?"
"No." only a half-truth he realized "Are you the Sam that I grew up with?" He nodded looking at the carpet bellow him "Well... Are you Human?"
"Half." She swallowed, a bead of sweat forming on her brow "W-What's the other half?" he stood up, taking a deep breath and crossing his arms, Sam wasn't gonna lie and he wasn't gonna run, he knew that this needed to be done with "Demon, I'm a half-demon, My dad is a demon." he twirled the words around, trying to get her used to them "You're... a Demon?" He pushed back his crimson hair "Half-Demon." She looked at him blankly for a moment "but your dad, your real dad I met him, we all met him he wasn't..." Sam interrupted "It was a trick, he can appear human when he wants too." it felt strange to be admitting these things to her "And you... this isn't the real you?" Sam shook his head "Luckily for me, this is the real me, I'm unique." Lily walked over to the edge of the room, a puzzled look on her face as she approached the window "So the other thing, the thing you became?"
"That's me too, I can switch between the two." She seemed to be mostly calm now, though she made sure to keep him in her vision "Listen to me, I'm sure that you are confused and scared, maybe a little betrayed, but... Monster or no, My feelings for you haven't changed." she started to cry again, her squeaking sobs echoing from the corner.

Sam couldn't stand it, he had to comfort her and so he did. He approached slowly and made sure that she was completely aware of his intentions "Lily, please come here." Lily snapped "Why!?" she bellowed, her face wet with fresh tears "So you can coax me into loving you again so you can do god knows what, You are a Demon Sam, I can't just forget that!" Sam's chest began to burn, not the burn that came with anger, or rage, a hole had been burned in his heart and in that moment of absolute low he did something that he had not done in a long time, He cried.

Lily saw him as tears fell down his face, she could feel it, the pain he was feeling "I've lost you." he said in his deep voice, going back to sit on the bed, "I should of told you, all of you, and now.... Now I've lost you." Lily looked at the man that she loved, his heartbroken open and filled with fear, he just sat silently, Crimson tears falling from his eyes.
