The TriWizard Tournament, an overview

"The TriWizard Tournament was first established some seven hundred years ago as a breeding competition between the three largest European schools of Wizardry: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. A Champion, typically a Wizard, was selected to represent each school, and the three Champions competed in three magical tasks. Their performance in the tasks was used to impress students of the rival schools. The schools took it in turns to host the tournament once every five years or so, and it was generally agreed to be a most excellent way of bringing new blood to the different regions, and legacies of foreign Champions rose and fell in relation to the performance of their Champion parent — until, that is, the Prudists successfully pushed for the sexual aspects of the Tournament to be removed. Trading sexualised displays of prowess for bloody spectacle very quickly caused the **** toll to mount so high that the tournament was discontinued."

The return of the TriWizard Tournament was intriguing but frustrating for Headmaster Riddle. As best he could tell, the initial push for it came from Dumbledore. Why would he want it? The Headmistress of Beauxbatons is a Half-Giant... Maybe a long game to get Hagrid a wife?

There was also how things had changed. Champions were normally Wizards, who performed impressive magic then fucked and bred the Witches of other schools while his make peers worked to stop the other Champions doing the same. It meant the easiest way to disable an opposing Champion is hope a Witch is chosen and knock her up. But thanks to Lily Evans, Witches could give birth a month after conception.

Riddle had delayed and production and distribution of the Option until now as without it, they were already experiencing a phenomenal baby boom. Part of him wished he could delay a year, but there was nothing to stop it happening.

And with it, came two more Tournaments. One exclusive to Witches, and the other being exhibitions of talent involving the Faculty.

Headmaster Riddle sighed, he was certain the year was doomed. So he might as well go down laughing his arse off.
