Which Power First?
The Tattoo
The Tattoo is the most personal and permanent form of My Law — not an item you wear or a tool you carry, but a mark etched into your very skin. This mystical tattoo, designed by the Writer (or chosen by fate), determines the nature of your reality-warping power. The words or image inked into your flesh define who you are and what you can do. “Master of Fire,” “King of All,” “Breaker of Chains” — whatever the tattoo says becomes true, turning you into a living embodiment of that concept.
What makes the Tattoo unique is its permanence and identity. Unlike other forms that can be removed, shared, or destroyed, the Tattoo fuses with your being. It is not just a source of power — it becomes you. The power flows continuously, not through active commands but through presence. If your tattoo reads “Untouchable,” harm simply fails to reach you. If it says “Voice of Command,” others are compelled to obey. Your body becomes a divine signature, and your existence becomes the law it proclaims.
But this gift is not without serious risks. The Tattoo cannot be changed without tremendous cost, and if damaged — through injury, removal, or corruption — your powers may falter, mutate, or collapse entirely. Worse still, the Tattoo’s meaning can evolve over time, reflecting not just what was originally written, but what it comes to mean. For example, a “King of All” who loses his confidence might find himself ruling over nothing — or being constantly challenged by reality trying to dethrone him.
There is also a psychological toll. When your identity becomes your power, the line between you and the Tattoo can blur. Are you acting on your own will, or because the Tattoo demands it? If your ink says “Warrior,” can you ever truly know peace? If it says “Destroyer,” can you resist that path? Some users of the Tattoo become trapped in the roles their ink defines — unable to change, grow, or escape the destiny they once chose or had chosen for them.
Ultimately, the Tattoo is the final form because it is the purest expression of Law: power as identity. You do not command reality with tools, speech, or gestures — you are the command. You are a walking, living decree of existence. But with such permanence comes the greatest responsibility: before you choose your mark, ask yourself this — Can you live with what it makes you?
