The Symbiote Attacks

The Symbiote jumped towards Kori, intending to pin her down. Fortunately, she flew up, grabbing the creature mid-air, and grapple with it. MJ could only watch as she and the monster fought. She quickly snapped out of it when she felt Rera's hand on her shoulder.

“We should go,” she said.

”But what about-“ MJ started saying.

“Do not worry, Princess Koriand'r won't be defeated that easily.” Rera reassured her. Soon enough, it looked like Kori was gaining the upper hand, having grabbed the Symbiote's wrists.

Queen Luand'r and Komand'r quickly ran towards the two, with the Queen saying to MJ, “Stay back, we do not know what this monster is capable of.”

Hearing that, MJ turned back to the fight, where Kori is still holding her opponent in place, but the Symbiote is slowly gaining the upper hand. As Alisand'r goes to join the fight, MJ tried to remember someway she could help. Thankfully, the answer quickly came to her.

“Queen Luand'r, do you have any kind of sonic weapons around here?” MJ asked.

“Sonic weapons?” Queen Luand'r replied in confusion, “no, I don't think-”

At the moment, Komand'r immediately ran out of the room. MJ is shocked to watch her apparently flee, while the Queen yelled in Tamaranean at her.

Kori, along with two guards, kept punching the Symbiote, trying to beat it into submission. Suddenly, the creature roared, managing to throw the three warriors off him.

“Crystal,” It yelled, as it landed on top of Kori. MJ looked on as it began to whale on her. “Crystal,” it shouted again as it attacked her.

Why is it saying, MJ thought to herself before she realized what it wanted. She quickly takes out the crystal she had been carrying since she got here, and yelled “Hey, Ugly! Over here!” while waving it in the air.

“Mary Jane, what are you doing?” Queen Luand'r said in shock. The Symbiote looked towards MJ and, seeing the crystal in her hand, screeched, its focus on her and not Kori.

Fortunately, Kori seized the chance, grabbing the creature by the shoulder and punching it in the face. She quickly got on top of it, pinning it to the ground. It screamed and squirmed in place, as the two guards came again to assist her. However, the Symbiote's attention remained firmly on MJ.

“Crystal, Crystal,” it continued to shout, with the same maniac look on its face. MJ put on a brave face, but the longer it went on, the more it unsettled her.

BU-WOOM!

Until suddenly, the Symbiote, Kori, and the two guards were hit by a sonic blast. MJ and Queen Luand'r turned to see Komand'r carrying what looks like a large rifle. The Symbiote writhed in pain for a few moments before slowly rising up.

Komand'r quickly fired another sonic blast, this time solely at the Creature, and kept on it. MJ slowly made her way towards it, being careful not to step too close. The second Komand'r stopped firing, MJ held up the crystal, and it began absorbing energy from the monster.

The Symbiote tried again to get up, only to fall back on the ground as the crystal took all the energy it had. As before, the black mass faded to nothing, leaving only an emancipated man.

This time, however, when MJ started seeing the visions, combined with the stress of the situation, it was just too much, and MJ fainted, herself collapsing to the floor.
