The Street of Steel

You decide to try and lighten your load at the Street of Steel. You find the vendor's square and set up your tent, tying up the horses and feeding them. Throughout the day several mercenaries visit and purchase some swords and spears. One man asked after Valerian steel and you educated him on the fact that there is none for his likes in the realm.

As the sun sets you begin to pack up the wares until a young girl runs up to you in haste. "Please sir, I need to defend myself. Please it's urgent." You are suspicious.

"Do you have any coin?"

Her face dropped. "Well, no, but I have this sapphire necklace. It's a family heirloom. I promise, it could buy your entire cart."

You take the necklace and inspect it. A solid gold chain with sapphires intertwined throughout. "Alright girly, take your pick."

She grabs a dagger and quickly darts away into the alley. The necklace drew your attention. While the interaction was curious, the sapphires shined with such luster. You had to try it on, perhaps it would attract a lady?
