Once upon a time ...

Somewhere ... deep down the dungeons of the famous Croft Mansion, lies the secret chamber of the great adventurer Lara Amelia Croft. And inside, it was rumored that the great heroine had collected wonders and artifacts from all over the world, not for the eyes of the public or museums, but for her own amusement.

Some were just souvenirs, that Lara had kept as a reminder as of her deeds. So she will always remember these precious memories.

Some were mysterious objects, currently under the investigation of the world-class archeologists. One day, they might serve as keys to new adventures.

And in certainly marked storages, one can also find extremely valuable artifacts, that Lara Croft had intentionally hidden away, as they pose a danger to anyone who possessed it.

But from all these trinkets in Lara's secret chamber, one of them was the most precious for her. Safely locked in a hidden wall, Lara had stored a special diary inside. The diary itself was rather an unremarkable book, bound by dark leather, but it contained her darkest and most shameful secrets over the years of her adventures, secrets about her missing days.

These are the stories that the tomb raider wishes that she could forget. As it documented her personal journey not as an adventurer, but as a mere woman.

Even to this day, Lara did not know why she had written down these memories. She knew that her reputation would be ruined if the stories of her secret diary would ever escape her care. But she simply could not resist, she had to tell someone, even if it was just a diary.

And today, as the diary has landed in your hand, all of her darkest secrets are revealed...
