The Spell

Pushing down her fears, Diana picked up the bag and left the room quickly before she had a chance to really think about what she was doing. Diana walked nude through the house towards where she left Zatanna, resisting the urge to cover herself and just walked tall. Maybe if she pretended it didn't bother her, it wouldn't be so bad.

At least that's what she told herself before she returned to the parlor and Zatanna got an eyeful.

"Damn!" The witch exclaimed. She was still clothed of course. For a moment Diana was worried that this was all some childish prank. "Goddess is right".

"Please don't" Diana said trying to hold back her frustration. "Why are you still clothed? And where's Superman?"

"He's still in his room." Zatanna replied, not taking her eyes off of Diana. "And my clothes are still on because I'm not finished setting up yet."

It was then that Diana looked around the room, Zatanna had set up a small seance. There were Greek symbols written on the floor, Diana only recognised a few of them, most of them meant travel or something similar. She had lit candle all over the room and three cushions on the floor in a circle.

"Are you finished?" Diana asked somewhat impatiently.

"Hmm?" Zatanna said, too distracted by her nude guest. "Oh yeah, I'm done. Just waiting on Clark."

"What's taking him so long?" Diana asked herself more than anything. Zatanna still felt the need to answer.

"He's probably just shy. Not everyone can just strip off and run through the streets".

Diana's retort was cut off when Clark entered the room, completely naked with his bag in hands. Diana couldn't stop her eyes from drifting downwards for a second but managed to keep them at eyelevel. Zatanna, however, didn't bother trying.

"Wow!" She exclaimed, turning between Clark and Diana. "This might be the best day of my life."

"Funny," Clark deadpanned before holding up the bag. "Where do you want these?"

"Anywhere outside of the circle."

Diana followed Clark towards a desk table in the corner of the room. Diana cringed knowing that they were both showing off their bare behinds to Zatanna. As they placed their bags down, she stole another glance at Clark.

"How you holding up?"

"Fine, all things considered." He didn't really sound like he believed it but Diana chose not to press him on it, this wasn't really standard superhero stuff. "I do wish Zatanna would be a bit more... professional."

"Oh, definitely. Did you hear what she said when I came out?" Diana asked jokingly, trying to alleviate the tension.

"Yeah, I was trying to get a sense of how she might react. And I didn't want to be the first one to come out."

"Smart".

"Sehtolc ffo!" Clark and Diana turned around just in time to see Zatanna's clothes fly off her and disappear into thin air. Unlike them, she had no qualms about exposing her body and stood normally. "So, we ready then?" They both looked briefly at each other before nodding their heads. "Cool, sit in the cushions and hold hands."

Diana was a little upset that she wouldn't be able to cover herself but sat down on the closest cushion as Clark and Zatanna sat down next to her. Diana quickly crossed her legs to cover her womanhood while Clark did the same, unsurprisingly Zatanna didn't bother, only offering her hands to the two of them. Diana hesitated for only a second before taking it and reaching for Clark's, the physical contact felt strange considering their state of undress.

"Any second thought?" Zatanna asked, suddenly much more serious than before. They both shook their heads. "Ok... Eteniagip sam nots opmylo!"

Suddenly a bright light emanated from Zatanna and engulfed the room blinding even Diana's superhuman senses. Even shutting her eyes didn't only dulled the pain. Finally though, the light dissipated and Diana opened her eyes, seeing that she was no longer in Zatanna's living room and she wasn't sitting on a cushion but a marble floor.
