The Single Dad she babysits for

Alice went off to the Farr household after she woke up. She often babysat Mr. Farr's children, getting there right at 8. It was the only job her parents would allow her to do, and she loved kids. Alice desperately wanted some kids of her own, but she wasn't sure how it would happen. She knew for sure that having kids was only something that could happen after marrying a suitable husband her parents picked out.

"I really appreciate you doing this, Alice." Mr. Farr told her as he rushed out the door. "Kids need someone to look after them and I have to keep a roof over their heads."

"Oh, it's no problem!" Alice replied. "James and Sarah are so well behaved. When I have kids, I can only ask that they behave half as well!" There was a look on Mr. Farr's face, as if he was contemplating something, but before Alice could ask what it meant he smiled softly and left.
