The Side-Hustle

Debbi’s employer was not immune to the economic down turn it seemed most of the western world was facing. Bonuses and raises companywide had been frozen, with the company's quarterly earnings falling below projections. Debbi’s job seemed safe enough, but if she was going to meet her financial goals, she would need to supplement her income somehow.

It was Carol’s daughter Charlotte that first turned her on to the idea. Charlotte had been streaming on a popular social media site for over a month now, to help offset her college expenses and her photography videos had really taken off. Charlotte wasn’t naïve, she knew that her outfit choice, the way she did up her beautiful blonde hair, and her carefully applied makeup might have more to do with her success than any ground breaking insight she might have been sharing. But Debbi was an attractive woman as well, and at only 26, plenty of people would still line up to consume any content she might produce!

It was decided, Charlotte helped Debbi set up an account, and the two made plans for Debbi’s streaming debut. The concept was simple, Debbi would use her technical knowledge to do simple troubleshooting/problem solving as well as “expert” reviews on popular technology, such as mobile devices. In contrast the many existing videos in this genre, Debbi’s “show” would be a live stream, where she could interact with her audience on the spot, taking their real time technical questions. Most important however, as Charlotte had emphasized, was Debbi’s appearance. The ladies had agreed that cute and sexy casual outfits would contrast well with the highly technical content Debbi hoped to produce and would draw maximum viewership.

It was time. Debbi was a nervous wreck; she didn’t normally have trouble speaking before large audiences and it certainly helped that this one was invisible behind a computer screen, but Charlotte had drilled into her the importance of making a good first impression. For her first show, Debbi make sure was wearing a sleeveless tee and some black leggings. Debbi would do the stream sans bra, as per Charlotte’s advice “Pokies made Jennifer Aniston’s career.”

Debbi was a hot mess, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the viewer count. Debbi tripped over her words, stuttering and stumbling through the whole stream. The audience however was too distracted by the “Hot Chick” on the screen, to notice her missteps. While “Pokies” didn’t hurt, it was the unintended nip-slips that really drew in a crowd. Lost in the points she was trying to get across Debbi gestured with her hands, each time causing the large open sides of her sleeveless top to gape briefly, exposing her breasts to the viewers’ wanting eyes. Another highlight of the show came when Debbi clumsily knocked over her wineglass. Moving quickly to clean up the mess before a stain set in, Debbi apologized profusely, turning her backside to the webcam and bending over to clean the floor. Under this strain Debbi’s leggings turned translucent, exposing Debbi’s shapely ass and lace white thong to the delight of her viewers.

What a train wreck, Debbi thought, shutting off her webcam as the broadcast mercifully came to an end. Charlotte however convinced Debbi to press on, despite the gaffs the viewer total had been quite high, and what was the harm? 3 weeks, and 3 temporary suspensions (for further inadvertent exposures in violation of the site’s terms) later, and one thing was clear: Debbi was a hit! The attractive tech savvy girl next door with a propensity to accidently show to much was a recipe for success, and Debbi’s subscriber count sky rocketed!
