The Shrine

Ushug was surprised, she seemed to have misjudged Konrad. He was not to the pompous human she thought he would be, but a rather intelligent and more tolerant one. She felt slightly embarrassed, though she dared not show it, not wanting to give him the satisfaction. Ushug waited for a few moments, before getting up to go and patrol the area, but also to escape the awkwardness she had created.

The ruin they had set up camp in appeared to be an old shrine of some sort. To what God or Goddess, it had been dedicated to had since been lost to time, not that Ushug cared. Orc religion reflected the culture and race it belonged to, simple, practical and brutish and lacking in the elaborate ceremonies and temples seen in others. What ceremonies that did exist revolved around martial strength, with the strongest exemplars of the Orc race being held in high regard, which in turn gave them access to many privileges, particularly those pertaining to mating privileges. Something which Ushug knew all too well.

The rain had not let up since they had arrived, if anything it had gotten heavier meaning they would both be here for some time. Thanks to her Orcish heritage Ushug could easily endure the harshest of conditions, but Konrad almost certainly would not. She reflected on what he had said to her, and her rather harsh treatment of him in the short while they had known each other. He had been very polite and respectful towards her, that is once he stopped being frightened by her. But she had continued to treat him rather harshly and thought to herself she should cut him some slack.

Ushug’s thoughts then began to stray. She wondered what Konrad would be like as a lover. To her he seemed a bit to effeminate in comparison with the other men she had had, but perhaps his talents lay in other areas. Or maybe still, she would surprise her..

Ushug though quickly snapped out of it, ‘Fuck!’ she groaned to herself. What was she thinking, some human weakling? It had been some time since she had had someone, she could feel herself getting hot and her nether regions moistening. It was time she got some release.

Luckily, she was some was away from where she had left Konrad, and would not be disturbed. She set her sword aside and sat herself down, leaning against a wall for support. She then undid her pants and pulled them down past her muscular thighs, exposing herself.
