The Show Must Go On...

"Return to shadow now..."

The phrase repeated in Melinoë's head. Loud enough to drown out the crowd leering at her. Enough that her lips traced the words, yet never provided them a voice. This one sentence would end her run, returning her back to camp safely.

She wanted to. Truly. But she couldn't.

The phrase was to preserve her life. Used only in dire circumstances. Not for moments of embarrassment or humiliation. If she couldn't handle this, how could she handle Chronos? Let alone what her companions might say...

"Look at you! That soft mammal body!" Scylla jeered. "As if you could steal attention from ME. You don't even have tentacles--"

With a loud click, the spotlight on Scylla turned off, leaving her and her band mates in darkness. "What-- HEY!"

All of the spotlights suddenly shine on Melinoë as she slowly climbed to her feet. Head lowered, she began to cross the stage. Her body was crouched, butt pressed out. One arm held her big, otherwise free breasts. Though, they didn't quite cover her dark areola that peeked out...

Her other hand was held between her legs. Her spectral green hand-- Meaning that, despite her efforts, her bushy blonde pubic hair and lips were still partially visible...

Not that it mattered.

Melinoë had access to several divine weapons; The Nocturnal Arms. Blades, a staff, a skull. Things that may have served her better in the moment. But today, she'd chosen Zorophet, the Moonstone Axe. A massive, hulking weapon, that she was able to wield despite her scrawny frame.

So long as she had two hands.

And so she did. She picked up her axe, and in doing so, exposed everything to everyone. From her blushing face, to her pale front and plump backside, all glinting under the spotlights.

"As you hear your fans chanting MY name, please remember-- You wanted this show, Scylla." She spoke with a fierce glare and rosy cheeks.
