The Show, the show is on!.

"Gals, guys, you ready?" Barbara said enthusiastically. She looked over her group for the night, smiling at them all. Finally the cast of Willy Wonka had appeared before her, or was it Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Anyways, her cast for the main children were gathered around her. She was Violet of course; Peggy was Veruca; Humphrey was Augustus; her cousin, Constance was Mike; while Charlie was...Charlie.

Charlie ribbed into Barbara when she heard who she was going to play. Somehow. Barbara did it of course. But in Barbara's opinion, she couldn't think of a better looking Charlie than Charlie. Being able to pass herself off as a boy. Barbara was thankful to not be the only girl that was flat as a board in the family, with Peggy receiving all of their mother's curves. But she was still some what envious as the girl did posses a butt fine enough to be glanced at.

Back on the topic; everyone else in the show was played by one of the various other members of The Cobalt Theater. Topping the entire troupe off with her father as Willy Wonka, who she dared say could do a damn good Gene Wilder impression. They were outside, of course, doing their own rehearsals for the act.

Variations of the word yes came from around Barbara in the trailer, who gave each of her family members a thumbs up. She waved them off so that they could prepare for the act. Seeing them off, Barbara peeked outside for a look at the crowd.

Outside the main tent, about one hundred or so townsfolk gathered around the circus grounds. Each one watching what Barbara called the "Hookline" crew. Made up of about fourteen of the sixty person crew of The Cobalt Theater. Carnival rides were placed up everywhere and the sound of music and laughter filled the air.

Barbara was thrilled at the numbers, closing the door behind her. She rushed into her/Charlie's "bedroom" to put on her inflatable suit. She smiled at herself, only taking a month to sew everything into a facsimile of Violet's costume. Both 2005 and 1970's version of the outfit, using her new fangle "phone" to look them both up.

Finishing herself off with clown makeup and a twirl, Barbara looked herself over in the mirror. She stared down at a little pulley located at her hand, she would expand, not into ball shaped unfortunately, but big enough to give get her point across. Thinking everything was a-okay, she dashed across to her counter to pick up the final piece of her assemble. The seltzer bottle; the cause of this entire skit in the first place

A strange occurrence happened when she went near it though, a shiver went through her spine. It was almost as if was warning her to stay away from itself. She shook her head to clear herself off from the weird torpor.

"Must be a 'pre-show', I gotta do my job though." Barbara promptly snatched the bottle up and headed outside. An hour left until something big occurs.
