The Shift Shift Fruit

(This IS my story)

It was an expedition day for the straw hat pirates, for they needed some fresh fruits and find a small island, abundant in fruits, so they split up, for it was only a small island, no bigger than 5 square miles.

Luffy found an entrance to a cave, hoping to find an animal for meat (I hope there is meat, my Devil fruit requires a lot of food...) he went further, realizing that it was deeper than he imagined, but he stepped on a panel, which went down, then, a big rock fell behind him, rolling behind him at a faster and faster pace.

"GUM-GUM....ROCKET!" he destroyed the rock in one punch, and continued walking down, dodging arrows, boulders, and all other sorts of traps.

After 5 minutes of walking, he reached a room, with a chest in the middle (i wonder what's inside?) He opened the chest to find something he hasn't seen in 12 years, a devil fruit.

there was a paper next to it, which when he opened it, said ^Shift-Shift Fruit, allows a person to change into different items/People^

he contemplated, before deciding to eat it, knowing there was a practically 99% chance he would die, but because he is Luffy so plot Armor, he lived, so does he try it out later or try it in the room?
