The Shen Siblings

We were led to a large dining hall. Shen Jie was already waiting for us there along with his son Shen Mu and Daughter Shen Bingbing.

Shen Mu was a tall and muscular man. He had dark skin and a fierce face. His eyes were constantly scanning Fang Qiong.

Shen Bingbing was a tall woman. She had long black hair and a exotic face. Her eyes were locked on me, sizing me up.

“Please sit down.” Shen Jie said, gesturing to the table.

We sat down and food was served. Shen Mu kept eyeing Fang Qiong throughout the meal. She ignored him and focused on eating.

After the meal, Shen Jie clapped his hands and servants started clearing the plates.

“Now that you’ve had a chance to meet each other, what do you think?” He asked Shen Mu.

“I like her.” He said, his eyes never leaving Fang Qiong. “She’s perfect for me.”

“And what do you think?” Shen Jie asked Bingbing.

She nodded, “Yes, I agree. They seem like a good match.”

“Very well then.” Shen Jie said, standing up. “We shall announce the engagement tonight at the banquet. Please excuse us while we make preparations.”
