The Sequel

"Oh, look! There's a sequel," Cody exclaims, exhilarated.

Sarah hastily clambers on the bed, propping herself upright with crossed legs next to her brother.

"Let's watch it!" she urges.

The starting sequence of the video shows David with his smartphone in his hand.

"A few minutes ago, I received this voice message," he says and activates the speakers of his phone. We hear Susan's voice, hushed and tense.

"Hello David, this is Susan. The past two days have been a whirlwind of emotions. The experience with you has awakened something deep within me that I cannot ignore. And I find myself yearning for more. I can't deny the deep, primal urge that has taken hold of me. Would you mind if we had another date? Please call back."

The recording ends.

"What would you do?" he asks the audience rhetorically, immediately giving the answer himself by tapping on his phone. We hear the ringing tone and then, a female voice.

"Hello?"

"Hello Susan, David speaking. Concerning your question: My answer is yes, with the greatest delight. Same place, same time. This evening."

Susan remains silent. We can imagine her chewing her lip, her mind racing. She takes a deep breath and whispers, "Please, bring a condom with you." Without waiting for his reply, she hangs up, too nervous to say another word.

The video cuts and shows the meanwhile familiar hotel room.

Susan had already arrived and stands in the middle of the room, looking directly into the camera. She dressed carefully, choosing a simple yet elegant outfit that made her feel confident and attractive. But you can virtually see her heart pounding in her chest. The anticipation is almost too much to bear.

David stands right behind her, looking over her shoulder, his eyes filled with the same intensity as before.

"Susan, please introduce yourself to your audience." It wasn't a request but an order.

"Hello! My name is Susan. I'm a housewife and mother, living in a quiet suburban neighborhood."

"And why are you here, Susan?"
