The Scent of Blood

There's an intoxicating smell in the air, you don't know what it is but you know you need it more than anything. You see a woman, standing off by her own on a phone. Your vision goes red. You need her. You walk towards her, you feel your teeth lengthen...

And then something grabs you from behind, snapping you out of your trance.

"Easy there killer. How about we find a more subtle way to get what you need?" Somehow even with everything that has happened to the both of you, Allegra still radiates sisterly concern for you.

"I...right. Thanks Alley." Your response causes her to chuckle.

"Alley? Haven't heard that in years. Come on, let's go in, you must feel like shit right now." You follow Allegra into the club proper. Past the doors the atmosphere changes dramatically, a room that you can vaguely remember from when you were under Jenny's control. A packed dance floor dominates the room, a DJ at the far end plays the music. You would have found the bustle of the crowd, the flashing lights and pounding music oppressive before but somehow you feel distanced from it all now. Allegra points to a man that seems to be desperately trying to find a woman to dance with and failing spectacularly.

"That one looks perfect, **** and not too bright." The two of you gently make your way towards him and with some dance moves and longing gestures manage to pull him away from the dance floor to a side room. The three of you find a couch-like seat and sit on it, both of you flanking him. Allegra proceeds to engage him in small talk but it becomes increasingly muted as you look at the man. The feeling you had before returns with a vengeance. You become vaguely aware of an empty feeling within you, and somehow you know he has what you need to fill it.
