The Road to Pokefication.

The two newly established partners walked out of Sangem town to start their adventure. May lead the duo, her heart still singing in joy from being accepted by Dawn. Before long The two came to an open clearing along the path. "Let's see... Our next step forward should be to Jubilife City to the north." May says as she looks in the direction stated. "Do you think there are any pokemon in these tree's here?" May asked. Almost a split second after she asked, did a white squirrel like creature drop from a branch and atop her head. "Oh. Hey look what I found." May called out. Dawn chuckled at the surprise encounter. "Yeah, That a Pachirisu. They are quite common around Sinnoh." Dawn explained. "Hi Pachirisu, aren't you just the cutest thing." May said as she nuzzled close to the squirrel, as it nuzzled back. The sight of May's loving affection gave Dawn a great idea.

Using her powers she once more reached out to May's mind. "You are completely infatuated with Pachirisu. You love this pokemon so much, You want to be just like it." May's nuzzling became more and more affectionate. "Aww this little fella is just too cute." May continued to fawn over the squirrel. "You two do seem to have a lot in common." Dawn said. " You think so?" May asked. Before answering Dawn reached out once more with her powers once more, only this time for the pokemon before them. "You love the burnette trainer before you. You want to become her pokemon." The pokemon soon found itself nuzzling against May's leg. "Huh, I guess we do." May said with a light blush manifesting on her face. "Everything ok?" dawn asked coyly. "Yeah it's just...Have you heard of those people into pokeplay?" May asks. "That habit of acting like pokemon for the fun of it. Yeah. Why?" she asked knowing where May was going. "I never really got it till I met Pachi here. I think I kinda want to be like her." May admits blushing heavily. "Think in the next town, we can go shopping maybe see if we can find some clothes that would make me look like her?" May asks sheepishly. "Totally." Dawn responds with a grin. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!" May squeals as she hugs her companion tightly.

As the two begin to continue their journey, Pachirisu follows them closely behind. "Looks like someone want's to tag along." Dawn says as she points May in Pachirisu's direction. May approaches the pokemon and kneels down. "Pachi, Do you really want to join us?" May asks curiously. The squirrel then jumps into May's arms and nuzzles closely to her. "Alright then." May shouts with a bright smile on her face. As the two break their embrace, May throws a pokeball at Pachirisu. Pachirisu disappears into the pokeball. As the ball shimmies three times, it stops, signafiying that May has successfully caught Pachirisu.
