The Rest

The cooks all kept to themselves. Marissa and Selene were the only ones that understood them because Spanish was both their first language. Rebecca tried to communicate but being that she was fluent in only French, German and Japanese she only knew a handful of phrases to get her by.

out of all of the staff, Marissa was the only one the cooks flirted with the most. They had the food most accurately prepared and out the fastest when she was on duty. The flirting would also last all night and it ended with a bunch of broken hearts only to be repeated the very next shift she worked.

One of the most important people on the staff was Cliff Love the Bar tender. Jade wasn’t even sure that was his last name . He was a bit of an enigma. When it wasn’t Selene at the bar it was him. Like Selene, He was definitely an over pourer and it helped get the tips flowing. He was in his mid-30’s pretty muscular and cute. His hair was kept neat, he had full sleeve tattoos and had a very cavalier personality. But like most men he was a bit of a horn dog. But in a good way. Like if Jason had a conscious. Nothing but a gentleman and not once made an advance on Jade or any of her friends. He turned a blind eye to some of the wild things that happen at the bar but like everyone who worked there they lived by one thing and one thing only…what happens at Snorty’s stays in Snorty’s unless it’s a nasty case of herpes.

And last but not least there was the boss , Rick Lombardo. He wasn’t always a restaurant manager. Jade had recently learned he was a rebuilding his life after he embezzled from a stock market firm he worked. He went from being a millionaire banging hookers all day to being the manager in charge of a shady ass restaurant. Jade used the term in charge lightly because he barley came out of the office. He was the guy you only called to the front if the place was on fire. And even if that was the case you would need to have a really bad fire.

He was a rather overweight gentleman standing about jades height with a grubby look about him. Useless as the rest and just a warm body for the chair. But he lived by the policy you don’t bother him he doesn’t bother you. Only time you needed to talk to him was if he needed you for a shift(the call to Jade earlier) or needed time off. He wasn’t too much of an asshole, so everyone didn’t mind.

Rick really was just the figure head to the owner, the dick head Jason’s uncle Bobby. That was the real scum bag and Jade thanks the good lord Selene and her got hired before he took over the hiring process. She thinks Marissa got off free but definitely thinks Jenny caved and gave up her ass for this job. Rebecca on the other hand seemed to not een have to interview. She just seemed to show up one day and start working like she owned the place.
