The Receptionist

Mackenzie nearly jumped out of her skin when the woman passed by her. She threw her arms back over her naked body entirely based on instinct. The woman was in her late 30s with a bob haircut and a hotel uniform. She opened up a locked door in the reception area and then appeared on the other side of the window. The receptionist had finally returned. She quickly picked up magizine and started flipping through it bored out of her mind. Somehow, she had not noticed the naked redhead in her lobby.

Yet Mackenzie remained in her seat frozen. Maybe she had not thought this through. To get her key fixed, she would have to stand in front of this woman, naked as the day she was born, and ask for help. Being naked wasn't a problem, but conversing with a clothed person while naked was a whole other story. Not to mention her lingering doubts about the hotel being clothes optional came back to her. She could imagine herself walking up to the receptionist like nothing was wrong, the receptionist seeing Mackenzie and screaming, resulting in security being called and Mackenzie being escorted out of the hotel naked.

These fears hung heavy in Mackenzie's mind. They made her want to run. To where exactly she didn't know just somewhere she couldn't be seen. But since that wasn't a much better option, Mackenzie chose to instead swallow her fear, stand up on her wobbly legs while again cupping her breasts, and approach the desk.

"Um. E-excuse me?" Mackenzie asked.

"You need something," The receptionist replied impolitely. Clearly, there was a reason she was on the night shift.

"Ah. My keycard isn't working." Mackenzie said, placing the card on the desk. "I was hoping to get it fixed. I'm kinda locked out right now."

With a sign the receptionist put down her magazine, picked up the card, swiped it onto a scanner on the side of her computer, and began furiously typing. All without giving a single glance to Mackenzie. Something the naked bombshell found increasingly annoying. Dispite her earlier hesitations somehow standing before someone butt naked and them not even noticing really got Mackenzie's goose.

"Fairbairn, Mackenzie. Room 534?"

"That's me."

"Your reader seems to have reset. I'll recalibrate it and get you a new card. Give me a sec."

The receptionist began furiously typing at her computer, sending information to Mackenzie's lock to accept a new card. Then she opened a drawer to find a new card for the redhead. This whole time, Mackenzie was standing there, single eyebrow raised, growing more and more frustrated. How had she not noticed Mackenzie's nudity. The Redhead moved her hands off her chest and to her hips fully flashing her massive breasts at the woman. Mackenzie was standing in the middle of a hotel lobby not hiding a thing, and the receptionist still didn't notice. Did this employee really have such low awareness? Or were naked women in her lobby a regular occurrence for her?

Finally, the receptionist found a new keycard, scanned it, and handed it to Mackenzie.

"You're all set up," She said unenthused, "hope you enjoy the rest of your stay."

"Thanks," Mackenzie quietly replied, taking the card. She looked down at it, knowing she could easily turn around head for the elevator and get back to her room no problem.

But. She still didn't know if this hotel was clothes optional for sure.

"Excuse me, could I ask you one more thing." Mackenzie said.

"Hmm," the receptionist signed. "What now?"

Mackenzie swallowed, racking her brain to determine the best way to say this. "What do you think of what I'm wearing?"

'THAT was how I chose to word it!?!' Mackenzie thought, 'I know I didn't want to bluntly ask if nudity is ok.here but still."

Regardless of her poor word choice, the receptionist was apparently curious enough to look up at the Redhead. She saw her standing there, hands on hips, with nothing but a smile on her face.
