The Prefect’s Bathroom

With the year just starting, Harry took the chance to sneak off under his Cloak of Invisibility to the Prefect’s Bathroom hoping it would be available.

However, when he got near the door he heard voices. Making sure to move quietly, Harry moved around the corner and saw the seventh year female Hufflepuff prefect point to the door and starting to explain what it was to the new fifth year female Hufflepuff prefect.

The senior prefect made sure to say the password clearly, “Pine Fresh,” causing the door to open. Carefully following them in, the door closed behind Harry and the girls with them none the wiser.

Harry listened as the explanation winded down, before the seventh year prefect looked around even though they were the only ones in the Prefect’s Bathroom and leaned down whisper to the fifth year, at a volume that Harry could hardly hear, “Listen, the password is Pine Fresh, but if you say ‘Pacto Assentior’ before it when opening the door from the outside while alone, the Prefect’s Bathroom transforms and has a special massage table.”

With the explanation done, Harry followed the two prefects out of the bathroom, letting the door close behind him.

Harry waited until they had turned around a corner and checked the Marauder’s Map to track them and make sure no one was around before he leaned towards the door and whispered the special password he over heard, “Pacto Assentior Pine Fresh.”

Feeling a wave of magic wash over him, Harry suddenly relaxed, the tension he was previously feeling from dealing with the Dursleys all summer and from sneaking around dissipated as the door swung open.

Excitedly hurrying inside for the massage, Harry was unaware of the events that would follow his use of the special password and massage table.
