The Park

As a city bus stops and disembarks passengers from the airport, one of them was Mimi who gazed at her surroundings and found an interesting location: In contrast to the concrete jungle of skyscrapers and shops, there was an oasis filled with green grass and orange tree leaves.

Attracted by such a distinct environment, Mimi came through the stone arches and was mesmerized to see the place acting as a hub for all kinds of activities.

Glancing around, she spotted two women sitting at a park bench and chatting.

Another was a jogger running lapses around the park.

On the lake was a boat, rowed by what seemed like a couple, drifting and isolating themselves from the rest of the others.

At a small hill and under a tree was another man and woman pair, both in little to no clothing and seemingly partaking in yoga, evidenced by the yoga mats under them.

There were many more people going on with their lives, much to the delight of Mimi who rubbed her hands and began to walk towards one of them.
