The Other Day

Ring, ring, ring! The sound of a telephone went dead.

Chun-Li woke up and grabbed the hotel phone with a somewhat exasperated air.

"Hello?" She answered.

"It's me, Chun-Li," said the voice on the other end of the line. "Are you all right? You sound relaxed."

"I'm fine, Cammy," Chun-Li murmured. "I was just...taking a nap. That tournament wasn't as much fun as the others."

"Anyway, Guile said there's something he wants to show us. She said it's very important."

Chun-Li frowned a little, but nodded as she looked at DarkRock: the muscular young man was asleep, a serene smile plastered on his adorable face. "I'll be down in two minutes. Tell Guile we'll see him in half an hour. All right, I'll see you in the lobby, Cammy."

Chun-Li dressed quickly and headed for the door, but not before giving her sleeping young lover a quick peck on the cheek and leaving a small note on the table with a kiss mark on it. She then cast a final, longing glance at Furensō before leaving the room and closing the door quietly behind her.

Half an hour later, DarkRock awoke to find himself naked and alone. A little disappointed that Chun-Li wasn't there when he woke up, he saw the note Chun-Li left and read it.

Hey. It's me, Li. I had a wonderful time. You're really good for a rookie. I'd love to see you again. Maybe we can have another rematch. Here's my number. Please give me a call.

DarkRock saw that there was a little picture of Chun-Li winking and smiled. "You know, taking a vacation isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I could stay here a little longer."
