The Only Friend

Zurich, Switzerland - one week ago:

"I mean, it is great that you've finally decided to bless my house with your holy presence, but only for a week?"

"Yeah, sorry, I wish I could stay for longer but they said the semester starts from Monday."

"So, how do you feel, huh? Gosh, I wish I was in your place, travelling around the world and you don't even like it."

"Don't blame me! Why do you even ask if you already know why?"

Monika let out a sigh.

"Look, I think I agree with your dad, it is very important for you to conquer this stupid anxiety of yours. It isn't helping you one bit."

"Ahh come on, I try, but I just can't."

Monika let out a smirk.

"What are you smiling for?"

"Nothing lol."

The car came to a stop and they arrived at their destination.

"Well, we are finally here," Monika said enthusiastically as both of them got out of the car.

"Call me once both of you are done." shouted Monika's mother as both Monika and Anna went running to the mall.

"Sure mom." she shouted back.

And off they went, to enjoy their evening together, probably the last one for the next full year...
