Which Power First?

The Note Book

The Notebook is a sacred artifact of written authority — your personal reality editor. It appears as an unassuming journal, yet every word inscribed within its pages carries the weight of absolute truth. Whatever you write inside becomes real. From changing events in history, altering a person’s personality, summoning objects, or even reviving the dead — as long as it’s written with intention and clarity, the universe bends to your pen. But this is no simple wish book; its power lies in precision.

Every written change must be specific. Vague or emotionally charged statements are dangerous — the Notebook follows the letter of what’s written, not the spirit. For example, writing “Everyone likes me” could result in obsessive devotion, even stalking or mass hysteria. “Remove danger” might erase people, ideas, or even abstract concepts like competition. The more detailed you are, the safer — and more stable — the changes will be. Grammar, tone, and word choice all matter. A single misplaced word can twist a wish into a curse.

One of the greatest strengths of the Notebook is permanence. Unlike other forms of “My Law” that may fade, wear off, or reverse, the Notebook’s changes are locked in unless directly overwritten or nullified. That permanence, however, is also its greatest risk. If you make a mistake, you can’t simply undo it by tearing out a page or crossing it out — you must carefully rewrite reality again, often at a greater cost. Trying to overwrite too many entries too quickly can exhaust your mental state or even damage your memory.

Another complication is secrecy. You must physically write in the Notebook, meaning you need access, time, and privacy. If someone else gains possession of the Notebook, they could make catastrophic changes — or even rewrite you. It’s a tool of ultimate creation and destruction, and because it leaves a record, it becomes evidence of your manipulations. Enemies may seek it out, while allies may grow suspicious of your sudden rise to power.

In essence, the Notebook is the power of authorship turned divine — you are no longer just a character in the world but its editor. It rewards intelligence, planning, and discipline, but punishes recklessness and ego. With this tool in hand, reality becomes a story — and you’re the writer. Just remember: not every rewrite leads to a happy ending.
