What is the Future for You and Karen?
The Next Saturday Afternoon
Happy Birthday/Anniversary Best Party Ever. Created 4-6-2015. Ten big years! Time for my yearly lies. I will write more chapters this year than last. They will be better written. I will do something with my other stories. I do hope to make these lies true but...
Now on with the story.
You and Karen are at the Smalltown Highschool Homecoming Game. Why?
Well, first, Green River City football is cancelled as they were forced to forfeit the rest of the season due to violations of the state athletics code. Jon was busted Sunday morning and tested positive for alcohol and pot. If he had only alcohol charges he might have been able to still play, with his family's influence, but the pot charge is too much.
This leads to an investigation of the team and it is discovered that many players are taking performance inhancing drugs and with the coaches knowledge. This is what Jon wanted to drink away with Tom. They were busted late Sunday night, totally wasted, and are still in jail as they have prior convictions on their record. Bobby was busted for pot possession and ratted them out. He said you and Joe also drink but the cops talked to you Sunday night and there was no alcohol in your van or blood test. They couldn't find Joe until Monday and then he was clean.
The second reason is that Amber is now dating your cousin Zach Williams. He is the quarterback and being goal oriented and athletic he is a good match for Amber. His former girlfriend was a hardcore party girl, your classmate Lexie Whyte. Amber and Karen were Smalltown girls until fifth grade when their moms moved to Green River City to work at the 24-hour clinic. Their Smalltown roots are why you all will go to the dance tonight. Zach's mom is one of your mom's older sisters. You played football until 9th grade when you got an injury. You haven't played since because if you get that injury again you may be crippled for life.
