The Next Day

Later that week, my computer wasn’t working properly. I asked Andrew if I could use his laptop, which he allowed me to use at the apartment he shared with his brother. I typed away with my back to Andrew in his bedroom, while he lay in bed watching TV. Laryssa texted me asking where I was, and when I told her I was at Andrew’s, she decided to drop by and join us. Andrew unlocked the door for her so she could come right in. He then walked back to his bed and spread out. Laryssa arrived shortly afterward and made a bee-line for Andrew, taking off her coat and tossing it on a nearby chair.

“Mind if I join you?” Laryssa asked Andrew, biting her bottom lip while hovering over his horizontal body. Andrew returned the smile, gave her a wink, and patted down on a spot right next to him.

“Eh…I saved you a spot-ah.” Andrew replied, shifting his body left to give my girl plenty of room to lay beside him.

Getting comfortable in his arms, Laryssa used Andrew’s bicep for a pillow while they made small talk. I still had my back to them, typing away on Andrew’s computer, and in the screen’s reflection, I saw Laryssa cover them both up with a blanket so that they were under the covers in his bed. They continued to talk, with a lot of movement in the middle of the bed.
