The Most Obedient Dog Ever!

James stood still, relieved that the extent of Rebecca's powers didn't go beyond a very powerful hypnotism and he couldn't actually be transformed.

"Well I guess that was a long shot. Still, I thought you were supposed to do anything I told you" a visibly disappointed Anna pouted.

"Well, I guess not something that's impossible. Besides I didn't even understand what you were saying" James shrugged, unmoved by her plight and thinking back to the Latin sounding words she had spoken. He had never been much good at Latin.

"You were supposed to turn into a dog!" Anna explained in frustration.

Suddenly, a disorientating wave of fuzzy, tingling painless sensations swept over James's body. For a moment he wasn't sure what was going on, but once the feelings subsided he noticed that he was on all fours on the floor in front of Anna. Feeling he must have fallen over in the strange moment he just had, James tried to stand up but realised he couldn't. He attempted to call out to Anna to for assistance but found himself making a series of loud, agitated barking noises.

It was at this point Anna knelt down in front of James in a state of disbelief and intense joy "Holy shit! It actually worked! Is that you James? Can you understand me? Bark once for yes and twice for no!"

"Woof!" James barked back in confusion.

"You're a dog James! Look!"

Anna held her phone out for James who saw to his astonishment a golden retriever staring back at him, just like any regular one you might see at the park. He took a step forward to get a closer look and the dog on the camera moved forward too. He let out a concerned bark and the dog that he now realised was definitely him did the same.

"Okay James, I want you to sit!" Anna ordered. Naturally James did as he was told and settled at Anna's feet "Okay, I want you to bark once for yes, twice for no. Do you understand?"

"Woof!"

"That is definitely you, James, right?"

"Woof!"

"And you understand that you are now my pet dog?"

"Woof!"

"But I can turn you into anything else I want just by asking?"

"Woof!"

Anna took a moment to fan herself since she was almost hyperventilating with excitement. She then paused a moment in thought.

"You know, I don't think I can stand to give you after twenty four hours so you are going to be fully obedient to me permanently. That counts since I gave the order today right?"

"Woof!" James realised with horror that it did. How was he ever going to get out of this bizarre and twisted new relationship with Anna as her fully obedient, endlessly transformable pet.

"Does that make you happy James?"

"Woof! Woof!" James barked twice emphatically to make it clear that this was not what he wanted.

"Aw, that's okay!" Anna giggled as she knelt down and stroked James's fur "You'll find I'm a really careful owner. I bet you'll grow to love being my pet. But for now, I want to test just how obedient a doggy you are!"
