The Minotaur's Den

As you walk into the room, multiple lanterns flicker on, casting shadows upon the wall. In this room you had entered, there were hundreds of broken weapons scattered across the room, with a large shrine in the centre of the room. You were unsure of what it was devoted to, but stepping closer to it filled you with dread.

In the corner of the room, there appeared to be a huge pile of hay. Ignoring it, you studied the walls of the room, each one stained with various bodily fluids. It had an atmosphere reflecting ****, the shrine only adding to it.

"Really does feel like a **** chamber..." You sigh, returning to the shrine and poking it. It was a stone idol representing a deity with an appearance similar to a minotaur. Looking at it closer, you couldn't help but notice a gem in its chest. "Huh..."

The gem itself was a dark purple, being the shape of an oval. Placing a hand against it, you could feel how loose it was in the slot. Grabbing the edges of it, you decided to yank it out.
