The Matter of Susan

Lindsey grabbed me by the ear and took me over to Stupid Cow.

"Hey, Marcie, Gina has found some way round the not harming people rule." she said.

"Really?" asked Stupid Cow. "How did she do that? What did she do?"

"She cut Susan's breasts."

Stupid Cow looked shocked. Maybe she didn't do it.

"Bring Susan to me." she said.

Lindsey left me with Stupid Cow.

"Did you harm Susan?" Stupid Cow asked me.

"No." I told her.

Thanks to that curse, she knew I couldn't be lying. Soon, Lindsey arrived with Susan who was fully dressed.

"What happened, Susan?" asked Stupid Cow.

Susan pulled off her shirt and bra. Stupid Cow was shunned by the sight of her scar.

"I did this for you." Susan said, smiling. "Do you like it?"

"Get out of my sight." Stupid Cow said, dismissively.

Lindsey gave Susan a moment to redress and took her out the room.

"That it?" I asked Stupid Cow.

"Yes, she is your ****." she told me.

Are you serious?! Its obvious there is something mentally wrong with Susan.

"This is a new low for you." I spat.

"What? You growing a conscious, now." said Stupid Cow.

"She needs therapy or something. Stop this madness!"

Stupid Cow did not like my answer but she restrained herself.

"Fine, Susan can go free." she said. "Just know that you will pay for this rebellion. You are dismissed."

Gina went to see Lindsey and Susan. They were sat on the bench, Susan asleep in Lindsey's arms. Lindsey was crying.

"I told Stupid Cow that Susan is free to go." I said.

"What did Susan mean when she said she did it for Marcie?" asked Lindsey.

"I don't know."

I honestly had no idea why Susan would mutilate herself like this.

"Listen, Susan is in no condition to be here." I said. "We should take her home."

"I'll take her home." said Lindsey.

"I don't trust you not to hurt her."

"I don't trust YOU not to hurt her."

"Fine." I said. "We'll both take her home."
