Which Power First?

The Mark of Ownership

The Mark of Ownership is one of the most direct and invasive forms of power granted by My Law. Unlike the Notebook, which shapes reality through written description, this form allows you to claim dominion over any person, place, or object simply by writing directly on it. Whether it’s inscribing your name, a symbol, or even a command, the moment ink or markings make physical contact with the target, ownership is established — and with it, total control. The mark bonds the item or individual to your will, turning them into extensions of your authority.

This form of control can manifest in many ways. Mark a door, and it may open only for you. Mark a person, and they may follow your commands, feel what you feel, or be unable to lie to you. Mark a city block, and you become its unseen ruler, bending its rules as you see fit. The more detailed the mark, the deeper the connection and control — from physical obedience to metaphysical domination. It is a power rooted in possession, and with that comes an intoxicating sense of superiority.

However, this power is not eternal. The mark must remain visible and intact to maintain control. If the target removes it — by washing, cutting, burning, or erasing it — they break free. For this reason, stealth and permanence become essential to maximizing your influence. Hidden tattoos, inscribed brands, and symbolic etchings all become tools of subtle enslavement or protection. You may control more than one target, but the more you mark, the more your energy is divided, weakening your influence over each.

There’s also an emotional and ethical toll. The Mark of Ownership walks a morally grey line — you are literally imposing your will on others. The longer someone is under your ownership, the more their individuality may fade, replaced with programmed loyalty or numb obedience. This can lead to a dangerous echo chamber of control, where no one can challenge you — not because you’re always right, but because you’ve silenced the possibility of disagreement. In essence, you risk becoming a tyrant without even realizing it.

The Mark of Ownership is a manifestation of control, dominance, and ego. It’s perfect for those who desire structure, loyalty, and total power over their world — but it demands responsibility, awareness, and constant vigilance. Every mark you make is a binding contract between you and the universe. And the more you claim… the more you must protect what’s yours.
