The Mana Starts Rolling In

A lot of people were visiting the Life Binder’s Fertility Super Center. Rebecca’s gamble to build ‘The Sunny Bump’ was paying off. Hordes of people came to the supercenter seeking clothes (maternity wear), education (maternity yoga / Lamaze classes), or something physical (massages, therapy, and spa treatments). Even more people popped in to grab a Smoothy or drop off their kids at the Daycare before continuing shopping at the Sunny Day Mall.

The Life Binder’s future was looking bright, business was booming. But all the staff knew the most important customers were the ones using the sperm bank and surrogate agency. If they wanted their coven to avoid using ‘Breeding Rituals’ they needed visitors to get pregnant regularly. Each sorcerer in the Life Binders had been spending their mana reserves liberally to learn magic. This **** each member to take turns working at ‘The Sunny Bump’ to absorb the necessary ambient soul-energy/mana generated there. (Even the Life Binders’ magic tutors visited the center to fuel their teaching demonstrations).

To Luke’s dismay, his health “coaching” was becoming a large part of the mana generation process.

“If I have to shoot some donors junk up one more lady’s …,” Luke said with a sigh.

Luke calmed himself as he washed his hands.

“It’s for the mana,” Luke said as he mentally measured his own Life Energy levels.

His ‘Breeding Talisman’ had never been this full. Not even after winning the Sunny Day ‘Breeding Ritual’.

“But, dam, I have enough work just fucking, sleeping, and eating,” Luke thought to himself.

He was becoming very popular at the center. Amber kept him busy for at least 4 or 5 hours every day. Most of this time was for administering artificial inseminations (he was the only male sorcerer in the coven, and needed to be physically touching the women getting pregnant if he wanted any mana). But on occasion, Luke was called upon to use his “magical” touch.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

“Come in,” Luke said turning and drying his hands.

“One more patient needing your “coaching,” Amber said waddling in.

Luke cheered up at the sight of his woman’s baby bump. It was mid-October and most of his human partners got pregnant in June.

“Almost 5 months,” Luke thought before taking the notepad.

“Glad this is the last one of the day. I am beat,” Luke said before he kissed Amber.

His nurse smiled as she pointed to the notepad.

“I reviewed her medical history, she needs your help,” Amber said before waddling back to the hall.

Luke sat listening to the young lesbian couple in his private office. He liked the legs of the tall blonde, but the brunette had a better rack.

“Are you sure this is going to work? All my past doctors said I was unable to have kids,” the blonde asked.

“Never fear, this is ‘The Sunny Bump!’, this is where the magic happens. Please lay down on the examination table,” Luke said dropping the notepad.

A moment later the blonde lay down with her feet dangling off the end of the table.

“Here you go,” Luke said pulling out the extension.

“Now please take a deep breath and slowly let it out,” Luke said as he grabbed the woman’s wrists.

Luke focused his mind before activating his ‘Alteration’ ability. It allowed him to change any physical feature of a living body or dead object. Luke didn’t change the woman’s anatomy; he just identified the problem and dropped the connection.

“Aw, got it. That is an easy fix. Please roll up your shirt,” Luke said stepping back.

Luke turned and rolled a large machine over. While impressive looking, the machine was actually just a prop. It didn’t do anything but make noise and flash colors.

“Hold still, this might feel funny,” Luke said rolling the large device over the woman’s bare abdomen.

The brunette grabbed her partner’s hand just as Luke activated the light show. Luke touched the blonde’s bare belly and used his ‘Alteration’ a second time. He pooled his mana and directed it to heal his patient’s womb. Luckily, the injury wouldn’t cost a lot of soul-energy/mana. He would be back in the black when she got pregnant.

“Aw, that tickles,” the blonde said in surprise.

“All done, now wasn’t that easy,” Luke said pulling the machine away.

“That’s it?” both women asked.

“Well, you will need to take some medication to help your recovery,” Luke lied handing the blonde a subscription for vitamins.

“Nurse Amber or my assistant Nectar will help you fill the script.
