However, creative writing models are not good at remembering context. If you keep pushing the story forward, the AI will forget small details and confuse characters. This is pretty common, and it is also why interactive AI creativity has its limits. It is quite nearly impossible at the moment for an AI to remember every single detail it has mentioned.

So how did this model remember the small details of Miseo or Haneul? It was in the prompt! This is the exact prompt I fed it.

In this episode, Miseo and Haneul, K-pop idol trainees of Starlight Entertainment, just got back from their weekend trip and are relaxing in the shared dorm. Miseo snoops around Haneul to see what she is doing. She is watching an Instagram clip of someone dancing in high heels. Miseo points out that the girl dancing looks like one of Haneul's old friends that she saw in the old yearbook. Haneul confirms that it is and her name is Jieun. Write this as a third person story.

The initial prompt for each chapter is HUGE!

The approach I took to helping the AI remember little details was to take the "episodic sitcom" approach. Television in the United States will air episodic shows in the evenings, which are weekly shows that are 30 minutes long. Every episode in a season, however, usually have nothing to do with each other. Most of the plot threads they bring up in that episode are resolved by the end of the runtime. Some exceptions do exist, and those are the little details that get carried over.

This is true for Diary of a Lewd Idol Trainee. Is it important for the AI to remember that Miseo is scared of bugs? Not really. Is it important for the AI to know that Miseo received a DM from Seungwon? Yes. It was also important for the AI to know that Miseo is untalented, but good at sex, and that she has a shy and innocent roommate who is good at singing and dancing.

Though endearing, Haneul's attempts at looking sexy was nowhere near the same caliber as Miseo's. Mr. Moon explains that it was going to be a new girl group with six members. Five have already been chosen and there was only one spot left. He asks her to "audition" for him. Write this in detail and as a third person story. Do not write Miseo into the scene.

I have explored many different interpretations of this prompt. Each result still got the main point across. However, I had to add "Do not write Miseo into the scene" as the AI would try to shoehorn her entrance too soon.

The rest of the prompts are as follows:

Miseo's face widens in horror as Haneul reveals that she knew. Haneul turns back to Mr. Moon and pulls down his pants, sucking him off.

Miseo is terrified at how **** Haneul has become. Haneul didn't need to resort to this. She could become an idol without having to do this. Miseo starts to break down in tears, feeling awful for betraying her friend and corrupting her.

The first two chapters of this story uses a model called "West-Hermes-7B", which is a combination of the Westlake model and OpenHermes Mistral7B. I like the prose in this model. However, it was too tame and never ventured into NSFW territory. Even when I would **** it through prompts, it would only respond in one paragraph and never more.

The rest of ACT I uses a model called "TypeI-12B". It is a combination of Starcannon, Mistral-Dory, Stheno's Lyra, and Mistral-Nemo. This is probably the best model I've worked with, allowing a good combination of lewdness and creativity at the cost of descriptive prose. There are several key changes. Because the AI model knows that this is the "pilot" episode / first chapter, it understands that it will need to write the story in a way that will be easy for first-time readers of the story.

There are a few drawbacks to this sitcom-style prompting method, however. Sometimes it will introduce new characters. Sometimes it will make characters you've mentioned show up out of thin air. (I've had Seungwon appear at their training sessions, for example.) Sometimes it will make characters do things they normally wouldn't do. (I've had Kara act like Miseo's best friend, and it was really weird.)

As with any creative model, /clear the session and feed it the same prompt to see what new things it can come up with, and then cherry pick what you want. Remember to save results that you like, otherwise you may lose it forever! Happy prompting!
