Carol bit her lip as she flew into the upper atmosphere, wearing nothing but a towel. Air blasted her body as she ascended quickly evaporating the water off her skin. The same likely would have happened to her towel if Carol wasn't gripping it for dear life. This was not how Captain Marvel had seen moving day going.

Carol finally stopped after leaving the Earth's atmosphere as she floated there The Captain looked around but saw no asteroid. Confused Carol pressed two fingers against her earpiece to contact Maria Hill once more.

"Hill come in," Carol said sternly. "I've entered the designated location, but I don't see the asteroid coming. Did I miss it."

"What? Oh Yeah, about that, apparently, the asteroid had only entered the Exosphere last time we spoke. There was a communication error over here. Sorry."

"Damn it, Hill! Entering the atmosphere means its past the Karman Line. Every superhero knows that!" Carol groaned. If she had known she'd have more time Carol wouldn't have had to rush out into space in only a towel. "You need to keep your house in order, Hill. Before you do something that really embarrasses yourse-"

Carol suddenly stopped speaking. For when she looked over Captain Marvel was greeted with the sight of her towel slowly floating away.

"Something wrong Captain?" Maria asked.

"No." Carol said softer. Her face blushing as she tried to stay calm. "I'll call you back when it's done."

"Alright Danvers over an out."

With Maria off the line, Carol casually crossed her arms over her chest started flying off after her towel. Counting her blessings that she was alone in space. The towel had floated into a nearby satellite making it easy for Carol to grab. Carol reclaimed her towel, pulling it off the satellite's antennae. With a smile, she held the towel in front of herself, prepared to get re-covered only for her smile to quickly vanished once she noticed it. A camera pointed right at her. She was floating infront of a spy satellite. naked.

"Gah," Captain Marvel screamed, pressing her towel against her chest and instinctively kicking the camera and sending the satellite flying into the void. Carol froze for a moment contemplating what she had just done before wrapping the towel back around herself.

"Sure, hope that wasn't one of ours."

As Carol tightly tied her towel at both the top and bottom to keep it secure in Zero Gravity, she looked out into the void as finally saw the asteroid heading her way.

"Finally," she said with a smirk. "Let's get this over with."

Captain Marvel squared up and watched as the asteroid got closer and closer. It was a giant white rock with shining yellow crystals scattered across its surface. Reed or Tony would probably have liked to study it, but Carol didn't have the time. As soon as it entered range the captain blasted the space rock with a photon blast expecting it the crack apart and explode. However, the attack did no damage instead the energy was seemingly absorbed by the yellow crystals.

"Oh shit." Carol said realizing her energy blast had no effect. Punching it risked splitting the rock into several still dangerous pieces so her only chose was to try and push the asteroid back into space. Carol flew forward and hit the Asteroid head on barring the full impact of its momentum. It was so intense she was initially **** back herself, but she tightened her muscles and curled her lips and pushed again with all her might until the asteroid was finally **** to a standstill. She smirked again sure she could knock this dumb rock back into space with only a little more effort.

However just as Carol started to push the asteroid away, she felt the towel tied to her bosom start to loosen. The knot was coming undone.

"No. No. No. No. No!" Carol begged desperately trying to match the meteor's momentum before her towel feel off. But she wasn't strong enough. Her towel flew open revealing her white stomach and cleavage. Carol then realized that having been pushed back a bit it was very likely the towel would start plummeting to earth if it was free of her. Never to be seen again. "I am not flying home naked!"

With little reservation, Carol pulled one arm from the meteor to grab her towel stopping it from falling by pressing it against her chest. Carol sighed in relief, but her victory was short-lived. Without the strength of both arms however Carol lost her momentum, and the meteor continued to descend upon the planet despite Carols efforts.

"Crap," Carol cursed. She tried to push hard with her other arm, her muscles burning from the immense effort, but it wasn't enough. Carol glanced down at her other arm holding the towel and considered dropping it. Instead, she continued ineffectively pushing with one hand the meteor actually starting to feel heavier as time went on.

"I'm not dropping the towel," Carol grunted. "But I guess I can't wear it either."

Out of options Carol pulled her towel off her body exposing herself to the upper atmosphere. Not wanted to press it against an alien rock, Carol placed her bathtowel in her mouth and held it with her teeth. She looked unbelievable ridiculous but at least she had both hands. Tired and frustrated Carol pushed with all her might expecting the meteor to be easily flung back. But that didn't happen. Carol's eyes went wide as she realized that despite her incredible strength, she was the one being pushed back. It was as though the space rock had gotten heavier. No was more likely she was growing weaker. Just as the meteor had adsorbed her photon blast it was now adsorbing her powers. As they grew closer to the planet the meteor began to burn up in the planet's atmosphere. The rock's burning exterior had no effect on Carol herself, even depowered, but the same could not be said for her towel.

"Damn it, no!" Carol screamed as her towel burst into flames and turned to ash in her mouth. Now she was rendered completely bare. Humiliated and outraged Carol's body glowed with energy as her eyes went gold. "If you want my power so bad you can have it."

Wavers of photonic energy were fired out of Carol and into the meteor. If this thing wanted her power so bad, then the Captain would just have to overfeed it. The meteor's yellow crystals grew brighter and brighter until they started to crack as they reached their limit. Eventually the entire rock became a bright glowing ball of light and Carol smirked realizing it had reached it's limit.

The explosion was massive snd likely seen as far out as Jersey. Carol fell, jostled by the blast, and yet still took time to look about to make sure no large fragments of the space rock survived the blast. She was dazzed but confident she didn't see anything. Feeling content she let herself keep falling for a second before flipping over to prepare to fly away. It was then Carol realized she was 5 feet from the roof of a building.

The impact shook the building to its foundation.

Despite all her power Carol had to admit belly flopping into the concrete stung quite a bit. After wallowing for a few minutes she got up out of the Carol shaped hole she had left in the roof.

"Hope no one will be able to ID that." Carol joked noticing the deeper indents around the chest area. Overall this had not been a great mission. She'd saved the city, but was **** to do it in her birthday suit. It was an embarrassing affair even if no one had caught her and in hindsight, she should be happy she didn't crash into time square. But as she stood their, butt naked on some random roof, all she could think of was getting home. So she looked upwards and threw her arms in the air ready for take off. Nothong happened.

"W-what?" Carol gasped. She started pumping her arms trying to **** herself up. She then tried jumping up and down hoping she could jumpstart her powers like a car but all that accomplished was making her massive rack bounce around. Eventually she stopped and her face tirned pure white as she realized jer terrible reality.

'I used up too much of my powers.' She thought to herself. Lip quivering. 'I can't fly. I'm stuck here...naked.'

Suddenly Carol heard a click and a creek and turned to see the entrance to the roof slowly opening.

"Meep," Carol squealed as she dived behind a nearby air conditioning unite for cover. A pair of men in business suits walked onto the roof. They had come to investigate the mysterious crash that had rocked their building. They stood next to the woman shaped crater and scratched their heads curious aboit what had happened. Meanwhile Carol peaked out from behind the AC unit, cheeks burning red. It was only a matter of time before they started looking around and found the naked heroine's less then steller hiding spot. She glanced over at the open door and made one more of the various bad decisions she had made that day.
