The Lore of the Arcane

As soon as I opened the book I felt a tickle in my head, I couldn’t describe it but it feels something passed through my mind and my soul? I shook my head and continued reading. The pages look old as hell. “How old is this book?” I muttered to myself wondering who the author was, I checked the back of the book and there was no description. Welp, time to get to reading. My most favourite hobby (not really). Here’s what the book said.

‘Magick has gone by lots of different names in the years. Witchcraft, Sorcery, and most damning of all, a heretical practice by the church. In reality Magick is a supernatural **** that can bend the laws of physics and do many things. Anyone living being can learn magic so as long as they are capable of having great patience and determination.’

I stared at the book. “So this is book is gonna teach me magic….fuck it I’m reading this shit. Always wanted Magic.” I began reading the page and how it all worked. When I was younger I always wanted powers and hoped to be a Demihuman, never knew my family much. Was an orphan. Hours passed and I yawned. “Jesus this taking so long. I’ll just say one incantation. Infernus.” Suddenly my hand caught fire.

“Oh fuck!!!!” I immediately began freaking out. “Shit shit shit shit…..wait why isn’t my hand burning?” I was confused but began focusing my mind. And made the fire disappear, I stared at my hand and realised I casted my first spell. I smirked. “This is the best fucking day of my life.”
