The Last of Us

Having played both part one and part two of The Last of Us series. One character you were most excited to meet, was Ellie. You moved your mouse over to the title card and clicked. Just like before, the rush of energy hit you and before you knew it, you were opening your eyes in a different world. You didn't come out where you thought you might. You looked down to see you were at the very top of a pretty tall building. Everywhere around you, looked desolate and empty, just as you might expect in a post apocalyptic world. You scanned the rooftop to see who might be waiting for you but it was empty. You wondered about who you might meet. Ellie just had to be there, but would Dina and maybe even Abby show up too? Your questions were answered pretty quickly as a hatch in the roof opened and Ellie, on her own, climbed out. She closed the hatch and picked up a few things from the ground. One being what looked like a pretty high powered rifle, the other being some sort of suitcase.

"Glad you could make it" Ellie said with a non moving face.

You watched as she reached the edge where you were stood. You wondered what type of "game" you might be playing. You couldn't get over how good Ellie actually looked. For what the main menu lady called a "pocket dimension", this was a thousand times better than any VR.

"You had much chance to practice?" Ellie said, not even looking at you.

"Practice?" You said, not knowing what type of practice she was referring too.

"Shooting practice?" She said, confused by your statement. "The whole reason were here to begin with. So you can get better at killing shit"

You weren't really sure that killing things could be very fun, especially since these were supposed to be types of stripping games but that was quickly swept from your mind as Ellie continued talking.

"Take this" She said while handing you a rifle. "Look down there, you see those bottles all lined up? The further back they get, the harder they will be to hit. You remember the rules?" She asked

"Not really" You said, being thankful you were only shooting bottles.

Another thought had actually popped into your mind. You had never shot any type of weapon before, your only shooting knowledge was from video games. The rifle you were holding looked like it would kick a lot. You looked over at Ellie and quickly realised that that didn't matter. If a little kickback was what it took to see her naked, then you shoot a thousand times right now.

"Ok, well rules are simple" Ellie said, while she was loading a magazine with ammo. "You shoot at the closest bottle. You miss, you strip. You hit, I strip. Should be enough to motivate you to shoot better".

To you this seemed like a very unique type of stripping game but you were all for it. You were sure that you could hit most of the targets, no matter how far they were.

"What happens if one of us runs out of clothes?" You ask, hoping that being naked wouldn't be the last of it.

"Hmm...I hadn't thought about that...we can come to that if it get's to that point. I'd be impressed if you actually managed to hit any of those". Ellie said giving a little smirk in your direction at the end.

Ellie handed you the loaded magazine and you clumsily slotted it in. You only knew how because of your time playing video games but you still needed a little assistance with it as Ellie finished readying the weapon.

"If you do well here then maybe...maybe I'll bring Dina next time". Ellie said as a last minute motivation boost.

You knocked the stand out of the rifle and placed it on the edge of the building. You looked through the scope and scanned for a second until the first bottle was in sight.

"Whenever you're ready, I'll be watching through these" She said as she held up some binoculars.

You put your finger on the trigger and readied yourself to fire.
