The Korcari Wilds

After a good and proper trek you come into a small opening and even from a far you see a huge pack of wolves. As you try to count them they jump, growl and fight among each other but you can gleam almost a full dozen of them. It's Alistair with Ser Jory who take the front while you support in the middle and Daveth snipes from long distances with his arrows. The fight takes mere seconds as soon every wolf lies at your feet and you are now free to continue.

Walking a small distance further you notice what had brought the wolves here. A crawling soldier, covered in blood and mud was slowly but surely making his way back to Ostagar. You approached and checked his wounds, healing him with your magic and giving him bandages, even offering to escort him back which he quickly turned down. He did not want to interfere with your mission as he recognized Alistair as a Grey Warden. You were also informed that he was part of a scouting party that was attacked by very sneaky and aggressive darkspawn who use shadows and stealth to take out the most **** enemies. As the soldier left, Daveth and Ser Jory expressed their fears but Alistair assured all of you that he can sense the darkspawn and there is nothing to worry about.

Continuing on you find a trio of hanging soldiers, dressed similarly to the one you had just saved. Their bodies were mauled and the expression on their face was one of horror and ****. Alistair made a quick snarky remark but before any of you could answer back, you saw a number of darkspawn lined up on a small cliff. Two were of the little ones which you saw earlier in the camp dead and there were another two, tall just like humans but their flesh all rotten or missing. Your frontline engaged again and while they were dealing with the human like darkspawn, Daveth was firing arrows on the ones in the back and you used your magic to support and disrupt. Your magic was never about dealing massive elemental damage. You always liked the idea of supporting and disrupting more fun and that is why a glyph of paralysis made the one small darkspawn a perfect target for Daveth's arrow. With that the monsters were quickly dispatched and the vials meant for darkspawn blood were filled.

Then, as you were nearing a fight between the darkspawn and a pack of wolves you noticed two herbs. One which looked identical to the one described by the hound master back in Ostagar and one you knew the name of was elfroot. You pocketed both before joining the fight, clearing all enemies in front of you. It is here you find a body of a man dressed in chantry robes. After checking over his body you find a lockbox with a note. His name was Rigby and the lockbox is intended for someone in Redcliffe called Jetta. You place the objects inside your backpack and continue on your path.

But as you are leaving, something catches your eyes. A small hidden mark. It shows direction but nothing else so you decide to follow it. Going from one checkpoint to another, fighting groups of darkspawn, you finally find a place where the trail ends. You discover it is a Chasind cache but Alistair stops you before you can approach. This is the place where the soldiers were ambushed and the ones who did it were still lurking by. Thanks to his ability to sense darkspawn you were not taken by surprise and killed all of the lurkers before claiming your prize.

Finding more corpses of soldiers, you go down on one knee to investigate and search them for anything you could take back. One soldier had a book. About myths and legends of this place with one ritual specifically picked out. A story of Gazarath where you had to sprinkle ashes of a dead person at a very concrete place. But as you got to the place written in the book and sprinkled the ashes that the soldier had with him and all of a sudden a demon came out from the ground. A shade which you felt was stronger than most others. A battle started immediately and all of you were taken aback by his strength but pushed on and defeated him, taking the loot that remained.

Finally pushing to the final part of your journey, the ruined warded outpost in your sight. As you approach, there is one final issue standing in front of you. A human like darkspawn which Alistair explained are hurlocks, the bulk of darkspawn army, stood taller than others. His armor more adorned and you saw all of these different markings which were explained as trophies for his kills. Once he saw you there was a chilling cackle coming from underneath his helmet as all of the other darkspawn looked up to him as a leader. A higher ranked hurlock with more strength and intelligence was bound to be a hard fight but you had to push through. The plan of attack was the same as before and soon you found yourself covered in darkspawn blood as both the general and his lesser troops laid dead from your attacks. And such, the warden outpost was open in front of you.

As you entered the ruined structure, you began rummaging around, looking for the treaties. All of a sudden, you felt chills on your back as if you were being watched when a striking young black haired woman walked down from the nearby stairs...
