Chapter 3 by lonewolf038 lonewolf038

What is to be expected at the party?

The Intel

Back on her ship in orbit, Samus stripped down to her zero suit, and connected her data-pad to the ship's computer. Within seconds, the information on the pad was displayed holographically in front of her to study.

According to the intel provided, Scalba Del-Vanka will hold his gathering, party, and auction roughly one month from now on the planet Metiks 3, at a private estate he owns through an apparent alias, a Mr. Bradly Sellars (interesting name). It is confirmed that several of his clients will be attending, and have already arrived on the planet covertly. The estate is in a remote part of the planet, about a hundred miles from the nearest town. The estate itself is massive; the topographic images indicate that the building takes up roughly 2500 square feet of surface area, and moreover much of the building is believed to have multiple underground floors, but it is impossible to know just how deep it goes. The maps have marked a few points of infiltration, and exfiltration, that seem feasible; such as the drainage system that opens out into the nearby river some 8 miles away from the complex. From that point an infiltrator can make their way through the tunnels of the drainage system back to the complex, and can sneak into the estate via the pipes, or the vents. While not the cleanest way in, it appears straightforward.

The complex is maintained by a substantial staff that routinely ensures that the place is presentable. Roughly 80 percent of the staff is composed of automated drones and robots, some of whom are distinctly humanoid in appearance, while the rest appear to be human, and for some reason all female. That last part gave Samus pause, especially when she saw read details about, and saw images of, the workers dressed in skintight full bodysuits with attached gloves and socks (with segmented toes (wtf?)) and round, ovoid helmets covering up their heads completely with no indication of an opening or crack whatsoever. The workers also wore maid outfits over their bodysuits, complete with high heeled boots, white opera gloves, aprons, hairbands, etc. Samus wondered if these women were willingly working there and wearing those outfits for the sake of anonymity, or if they were actually slaves that Del-Vanka liked to keep around until he decides to sell them off, and both ideas raised a ton of question for later.

As for security, it seems that a majority of the estates defenses are fully automated. While there are the basic cameras, laser grids, motion sensors, and turrets, there are an abundance of robots patrolling the areas around the estate, and likely the underground levels. The robots range from small drones with a variety of weapons, to humanoid automatons that double as labor, to large hulking walkers with big guns. There are also live personnel on site guarding the facilities. According to the intel, they are mercenaries from GAFF, one of Del-Vanka's regular clients, and they are guarding the facility in exchange for a discount on any auctioned items they manage to buy. The mercenaries are fortunately, only relegated to guarding the above ground floors, along with the first, and possibly second, sub levels.

According to the data, Del-Vanka ordered an abundance of entertainment, as expected for a social gathering as big as this. Since the nature of the guests and his business can't afford him to hire any people do the entertaining, he had ordered a series of fembots provided by the Aphrodite Robotics Co. to keep everyone occupied. These robotic beauties of various shiny colored alloys provide a variety of services from music, to dancing, to "full body special" services; as expected with humanoid robots whose exotic appearance alone is enough to arouse almost anyone, men or women.

After looking over the intel again and again, Samus began to think of a plan. Since this is an infiltration mission, going in with her power suit was a no go, so she had limited options. She has made some connections, and occasional friends, who owe her over the years, and she has plenty of money to spend in order to prepare herself. She can simply sneak in through one of the possible infiltration points, but due to the unknown nature of the underground facilities, she'd be going in blind, and outgunned due to being without her power suit. She could call up her connections to help her come up with a disguise, allowing her to either attend the party under a false identity, or go in as a guard or even a faceless servant. She also knew an eccentric robotics engineer who had an odd talent for making very convincing robot costumes, which can work to her favor due to the presence of humanoid robots in both security, and entertainment. Samus wondered what to do, and suddenly her thoughts turned toward what she learned from Madame Sparrow.

What's the plan?
