The IPC

"The IPC?" Silver Wolf asked.

"Yeah, Elio wants you to handle getting some information on them. He sees them causing some trouble in the future, in a lot of possible futures for a lot of people." Kafka explained. "He wants you to gather as much intel as you can to help us and several others get an edge on them."

"Can't I check hack it?" SW wondered.

"This is the IPC we are talking about. You may be skill but they already have bounties on us. If we stumble into things they don't want us to find, the might become even more problematic for us. Right now we are in the sweet spot with them, we cause trouble to warrant them wanting to arrest us but not enough to warrant them wanting us all dead." Kafka explained. "It would be far better if rather than hack into any systems we instead infiltrated their ranks through another means,"

"So who do I need to become?" SW questioned. "I can't imagine its going to be some mook level grunt,"

"Two of the ten stonehearts will be in position for you to take," Kafka informed as she showed SW her potential targets.

"The first is Lady Bonajade or Jade as she is more commonly known in the IPC," Kafka said. "Far from being the youngest, she's an exceptional woman who reads people well and is often a master of negotiating. Of course to deal with her is like dealing with the Devil, you may satisfied for now, but the question is what will happen after when you paid the due she demanded."

"I don't trust those eyes," SW scowled as she stared at Jade.

"Neither do I," Kafka chuckled. "A woman who can easily grant the desires of whoever is willing to pay her, I wonder...what is it that she herself seeks and what deal did she make,"

"Who's the other one?" SW asked.

"Jelena or Topaz as the IPC knows her." Kafka noted as she brought up the other image. "She's among the younger set of Stonehearts having been mentored by Jade herself. She specializes in collecting debts owed to the IPC among other things." Kafka noted. "She's far more innocent than her fellow Stonehearts, having a more naive and innocent outlook on all things. Don't let that fool you though, she's can be just as ruthless should the situation arise,"

"Well she definitely looks more my style," SW smirked. "Jade is too....lady like for. That said....Jade would be more advantageous," SW noted.

"I'll leave you to decide," Kafka said.
