The Hero always arrives Late

"My momma never raised a coward!" you though as you decided that it's time for you to shine. But you wonder how will you save her. Obviously you will use your mind control power but how?

Then an idea struck you. A rather dramatic idea but an idea.

Since there are no other option, you jumps from your hiding spot. "Halt! Stop right there criminal scum!" you shout toward them, gaining their attention as they turn toward you.

"Hah! What is this clown doing?" The smallest bandit sneers. "If you value your life, go away!"

"Maybe this idiot want to play a hero? Hahaha!" The other bandit laughs.

"Ugh... you... Run! It's dangerous..." the female knight weakly yells.

Time for your power to shine. You raise your hand and point your finger at the smallest bandit. You stare into his eyes and you command him "I hereby order you... To kill yourself!"

The silence follows your order and then those bandits laugh. "Haha! Is this fool an idiot or something?" Well shit, your power did not work. Guess it's time to die.

Or so you though. A sound of thud echoes around the forest, the bandits stop laughing as they see their smallest companion lying on the ground, with his own sword planted on his chest.

They can only look in fear and disbelief. Their silence deafening the forest. You are now smirking as you realize how powerful you are now.

"O' Villain! Your time has come for I will be your ****!" you spread you arms as you loudly proclaim, once again gaining their attention.

"W-What did you do?!" The bandit boss stutters as he takes a step back.

"My name is Hodd Toward! My word is an absolute law! And the new law for four of you are..." you once again points your finger toward the bandit. "Kill each other and then yourself!"

What follow is a bloody fight between the four as their body move against their will, they attack each other in an attempt to **** their own companion. Their Boss is the last one standing, his face is covered in fear and blood of his own underling. Well, calling him last one standing is quite wrong as he is now among his underlings with his blade stuck on his own head.

"How... did you?" The female knight who watched the bloody and strange scene finally spoke. You quickly approaches her.

"Hey, you okay?" you kneel beside her, you don't see any blood or bleeding of her own.

"I-I'm... Ugh..." her attempt to speak fail as she drops down, losing consciousness. You wonder what you should do now? Panic start creeping on you. You are only given an ability to control mind, you are not equipped for something like this.
