The Headmaster's speech

Professor Dumbledore spoke loud and clearly:
"I have a few start of term notices i wish to announce:
Naturally, with young students your age, now basically adults, and the urges that many of you feel at this stage in your lifes, you are eager to explore and engage in sexual activities.
The school has taken many measures to assure that you can do so, if that should be your wish, and that you can do so in a safe manner, in a safe environment, without being disturbed or being a disturbance. Dedicated areas for example are all bedrooms and bathrooms in the dormitories, and the Prefect’s Bathrooms on the fifth floor. As always, there are also a few additional locations each year, but i don’t want to take away from your excitement, when you discover these on your own for the first time.
All these dedicated locations are enchanted with at least silencing and locking charms, so feel free to be as loud as you want, and have no fear of being involuntary interrupted in the act. The risk of embarrassing situations will be reduced to a minimum if you stick to these dedicated localities. I advice the usage of the Scouring Charm to leave these locations in the pristine condition that you found them in.

Please note however, that apart from these specified and dedicated areas, and this holds true for the entire remaining castle, students are forbidden from engaging in clearly sexual intercourse in public.

Another note regarding the matter of safety: Please be reminded that last year one student had to interrupt her studies to go on parental leave. If this is not something that you wish to experience, please familiarize yourselves with the contraception charm. It is not only taught as part of the first year charms curriculum, but if that should not be sufficient for you, you can schedule additional lessons and training at the infirmary."
