The Group is Reunited

“Are you sure this is going to work?” the brunette guy said as he tried to meticulously keep his long brown hair styled back in a way that was quite unnatural for him. All the gel in the world didn’t seem capable of taming his normally curly, long locks.

“Of course! When have I let you down before?” The taller guy said back. Before the boy could rebuttal with the many different occasions that have gone to hell, the taller boy spoke up once again. “Alex dude the plan is quite simple. We literally have the entire campus crawling with hot girls who never stepped foot on the grounds here. It would be almost criminal to let the poor things stumble around here and risk getting lost. That’s why the Iron Falls welcoming committee is so essential!”

But we don’t have a welcoming committee?” The shorter guy said as he stared back in complete confusion.

“For fuck’s sake Dude… It’s a good thing that girls think you’re pretty. We ARE the welcoming committee.”

A smile crept onto Alex’s face as the taller guy Scotty continued to lay out the plan.

“So, we simply walk over there doing our best cheesy nice guy impressions, so channel your inner Drew, then offer our help to the hotties. And their mothers too of course. Then offer to give them a tour or help carry their bags. I’m telling you man, knowing which dorm room they are in is half of the battle. I also have a pretty handy app that my guy Theo unknowingly helped me build to associate each girl with their school schedules but that’s for a different day.”

Scotty was a hell of a salesman if nothing else. It was almost hard to believe that he was barely passing classes when compared to the elaborate schemes that he often drew up. In reality he was easily one of the brightest students at the academy but following directions has never been his strong suit. Alex on the other hand wasn’t so much on the bright side but had a natural draw about him that many, especially women, couldn’t resist. He was a go with the flow hipster that knew no stranger as he could fluidly drift from one clique to another. He lives life by exploring everything and has dabbled in it all from **** sports to music, to art; you name it. His focus doesn’t seem to last very long before he drifts to the next hobby without a care in the world. His laid-back lifestyle is likely why he’s the perfect wingman of the scheming Scotty. He isn’t just Scotty’s sidekick but is often the one to help hatch the troublemaker’s next plot with his connections and out of the box ideas as well.

“Scotty man, couldn’t we simply just talk to them? You already talked me into dressing up like a 1950’s crossing guard.” He said as he pulled on the school sweater with matching bowtie and bright orange safety vest that was sporting a makeshift ‘welcoming committee’ badge. “Now we have to help move all their shit too? This sounds more like a Mason vibe my guy.”

“Mason would fuck up a wet dream. I can’t let all the girls associate us with that robot on the first day.”

While Mason and Scotty have become friends by association through both Drew and Alex, they are about as different from one another as imaginable. Scotty’s words may have sounded a bit harsh when talking about the guy at times, but in reality, he knows from experience that Mason typically always sees through whatever no good plan he’s come up with.

Scotty continued to babble on, but Alex was far more interested in checking out the scenery. The more he looked, the more he knew he was going to love it here this year. He spotted the smoking hot environmentalist Kellie. Followed by the two ridiculously hot and busty blonde cheerleaders, Nellie and Destiny. He smiled at the thought of getting to know the two of them better and preferably at the same time. The sexy and nimble dancer, Deena, who was currently bouncing around while unloading her stuff and making her tight ass jiggle in her barely there shorts. This will be a great year indeed! He celebrated. Next, he cringed at the alpha bitch herself, Hazel, with her always following entourage. Not far from her was her tiny ginger sidekick who always seemed to be giving him the googly eyes that scared him just as badly as Hazel, although in a far different way. He tried to shake off the bad energy of those two and finally saw what he considered a blonde angel standing by herself as she took everything in. He wasn’t the only one to notice her as Scotty stepped right up next to him and took in the site as well.

“Think again pal. She has my name written all over her! She looks remarkably like the future owner of half of my assets!” The two friends continued to bicker as the mysterious tall blonde stood there both in awe and possibly nervous as the large campus can be a bit overwhelming for anyone who hasn’t been there before. Other than the main Academy building there was a more recently built arts center, the old and decrepit boys hall that was laughable compared to the immaculate and brand-new girl’s dormitory. Someone was at least smart enough to put them on opposite sides of the campus. Further on, the sports gymnasium was pretty impressive in its own right. Once you add in the courtyard, amphitheater, garden, and surrounding forest, it was a lot to take in at once. Her undecided expression made her a perfect target for the Eagle Crest ‘Welcoming Committee.’ “Dibs on blondie! Watch and learn my friend. First, I’ll show her everything the campus has to offer and for my encore, I’ll show her what my dick has to… OUCH!”

The sound of a thudding slap cut Scotty off mid-sentence before he was able to finish his less that smooth boasting. He turned around to see who the owner of the handprint across the back of his head was to find a pissed-off Alicia standing arms crossed and accompanied by Mason and Drew who were laughing hard at his expense. “Can’t you keep it in your pants for one fucking day before you scare away the new girl!?”

“And here I thought you’d be the one to need a safe word. I can do rough.” Scotty added on while rubbing the welp that was now forming. His comment caused the steaming Alicia to charge forward only to be cut off by her number one admirer and current savior of Scotty’s young life.

“What you missed me already and couldn’t take one more moment without me? That’s why you’re the girl for me.” Alex delivered the last part as if he were performing on a stage and caught some small laughs from his buddies. Alicia’s emotionless face gave no hint of reaction, not that this is the first time Alex has let his emotions be known about the girl. “My apologies for my bold pal here who has about as much self-control as a Jack Russell puppy. While she MAY be quite stunning, I barely see her at all. As I’ve found the one and only girl that makes my heart skip a beat.” Alex said the last part with his hands clasped together on his chest. Alicia was no longer able to keep her poise as she rolled her eyes hard and faked illness at his cheesy lines. Mason and Drew continued to be entertained by their two flirty friends before they happen to notice the blonde who was the target of this whole chat in the first place.

“Whoa” slipped out under Mason’s breath.

“Who the hell is that?” The more outspoken Drew questioned as all four boys turned their attention back to the blonde beauty. Alex was caught in a pickle as his attention was split between the new girl and the sexy one that he’s been trying for over the last couple years.

“Her name is Fiona I believe. A new student from England actually. I helped her register, and she seemed really sweet, if not a tad naïve for this place. So, you fucking hounds need to keep your distance, to not startle the poor girl. Plus, she’s too smart for you Neanderthals. She won the ‘Writers of Tomorrow’ essay scholarship. She better consider herself lucky that I’m already a student here and couldn’t enter myself.” Alicia grinned as her ultra-competitive side started to show through.

“So let me get this straight!” Scotty butted in while looking back and forth between the girls in confusion. “You mean to tell me that she’s here at this shit hole by choice? She actually wants to be here?” Alicia nodded with a frustrated look that was a common occurrence when she was responding to Scotty. “Oh, well that’s what’s wrong with her. She’s fucking crazy! Blondie is all yours boys!” the loud teen added as he slapped Mason and Drew on their backs. Both guys barely responded as they continued to gaze at the new girl who just happened to look in their direction and offered a sweet smile with the slightest hint of embarrassment.

The five friends continued to catch up and while still giving each other a hard time at any given opportunity. They hardly even realized all of the people around them at this point as Drew just remembered that he hadn’t moved his stuff into the dorm yet. Each were quite different from another, but they seemed to mesh together all the same.

“So, Drew what’s this I heard about some modeling gigs? I know you’re not properly equipped for any skin flicks unless they’re just trying to make the rest of us men feel better about ourselves." Alex and Alicia nearly choked as Scotty continued to prod the guy. Mason instantly threw his hands in the air to signify that it wasn’t him who told the jokester.

“Shall I remind anyone of that girl you played doctor with last Spring break? Because she was very opened about your escapades and didn’t skip out on ANY details.” Alicia warned Scotty with a sweet smile and upbeat voice that didn’t exactly match her hard stare or the pinky she was waving at him in a threatening manner. Scotty shut his mouth almost immediately as he shuddered at the memories. Even when things do go his way, it doesn’t exactly mean he’s proud of all of them. “And Drew I’ve heard plenty of stories of you too. Not a single one seemed to be complaining. Just saying.” Alicia added on at the end with an impressed side eye.

Drew blushed slightly as he gave the girl a nod of appreciation, before quickly turning his focus back on Scotty and was dying to ask one question since meeting up with the guys, “It was just a couple clothing ads you prick. Plus, I wouldn’t exactly be talking right now with whatever get up you too have on. Why the hell are you dressed like that?” Scotty prepared to give his flawless pitch again when Drew raised a hand to stop him. “On second thought, the less I know about your bullshit plans the better. I actually want to graduate from this place. If you don’t mind keeping your half-assed schemes away from me, I’d appreciate it.” Alex stepped in as usual to share his excitement for the year and more pressingly about what their plans were for the night, while Scotty grumbled something about having great plans.

“So, this should go without saying, but everyone’s down for opening night tradition, right?” Alex asked while looking at everyone with his infectious charm.

“Do I even want to ask?” Alicia added dryly. Scotty on cue raised his backpack with a shake that made the obvious noise of liquid filled glass clanking together.

“Unlike you, teacher’s pet, we actually like to start the year off with a celebration. I fully understand if you’re busy studying.” Scotty continued as he stared at Alicia with a smirk.

“Hey fuck off. I could get better grades than you with my eyes closed. You just tell me when and where. You punks better not leave me out of anything. If I’m stuck with all the prissy girls for a moment longer than I have to be, I’m going to lose my shit.”

“I’ve actually got somewhere to be.” Mason added sheepishly that caused a couple of his friends to look at him suspiciously. “I’ll meet up with you guys after of course.”

“Well It’s decided, we’ll all meet at…” Alex started as he was distracted by a newcomer who was standing just off to his side and impatiently waiting to say something.

“Hello! Hi, I’m Chelsea! I’m new here, well obviously being that I’m a girl and all.” The redheaded girl added with a giggle. “Isn’t this place crazy? I can’t wait to see it all for myself. The pamphlet made it look SO amazing!”

Chelsea was nearly bursting with excitement as she continued to rant and rave to the confused five. While her eccentric personality and high energy level was enough to catch many students’ attention, the guys were mostly distracted by her for a different reason. The strange and hyper girl was wearing skintight acid wash jeans that perfectly showed off her firm ass and a tight tie-dye tank top that held her large bouncing breasts right in place. She had a snug vest on over top and finished off her outfit with pink boots and a fedora. They weren’t sure where she was from, but she definitely had a style of her own. The guys were still busy sneaking glances at her fit body as they realized she was still talking about something.

“So like I was saying, I’m going to be in the drama department, and I absolutely cannot wait to see the stage. Geez I can’t believe how much I carry on when I’m excited. It’s a problem, seriously. Wait… You all must think I’m crazy huh?”

The bunch stood pretty silent as they struggled to take her all in at once. Alex was the only one who seemed to dig her style and shook his head, which gave the girl some reassurance and she started smiling widely at the group again. Alicia was glancing side to side at the guys trying to figure out if this was actually happening or if she was somehow imagining this ball of excitement in front of them.

“So anyways, the reason I came over here is because I’m trying to find my roommate and you all look like the ‘cool kids’ who probably know everyone. You two are clearly athletes…” She said with a confident nod towards Drew and Mason with a wink. “And you two sweeties are probably from the volunteer youth group. It’s really awesome to see teens our age that are so dedicated to their faith and for helping others.” Chelsea added while gently patting Scotty and Alex on the shoulder. Scotty was silent for the first time of his life while Alex shot him a dirty look from their scheme clearly backfiring. “And you’ve got this super cool vibe about you. You’re probably like the ‘IT girl’ around here! Tell me I’m right?”

Drew seemed to be the only one who could find his voice in the first moment that they’ve had to respond since the girl made her grand entrance. “Hey uh, Chelsea, right? Do you know your roommate's name by chance?”

“Well of course! It would be pretty hard to find her if I didn’t huh?” Chelsea said while throwing her hands up and giggling. “Her name is Alicia… Alicia Stone! Yeah, that’s it!”

At that moment each of the teens each processed this new information and slowly turned towards Alicia with quite different expressions. Not a single one seemed to find their voice at the moment. Alex was digging everything about Chelsea and was looking forward to hearing more about her, Drew smiled as he wasn’t sure if he’d met anyone quite like her and thought she was entertaining at the very least. Mason was yet to express himself in any distinct way as he was still attempting to process what the fuck was going on. Alicia on the other hand, had probably the most expressive look as a wave of horror and panic overtook her face. She didn’t know what to say but didn’t have to think long as the silence was broken by Scotty’s loud laughter. Scotty nearly doubled over as everyone now turned their attention to him.

“This is great! Fucking great I tell you. Allie, you should see your face right now. So priceless…” he continued laughing as he tried to catch his breath. Scotty noticed it was getting a bit later in the day and he still had plenty of things planned. “So anyways, everybody meet up behind the football field around 9. Oh, and Chelsea my dear new friend, you absolutely have to join us. First night tradition. Sweet angel Allie here will fill you in on all the details. I can already see that you two are going to be the best of friends.” Chelsea beamed back at his kind words and nearly hopped in excitement. She was oblivious to the **** stare that Alicia was throwing in the prankster’s direction. The group said their goodbyes as they headed in different directions.
