The Great Prophecy

"This is the Great Prophecy, we think either you or Percy will complete it." she says it aloud. "A half-blood of the eldest gods Shall reach sixteen against all odds And see the world in endless sleep. The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap. A single choice shall end his days Olympus to preserve or raze."

"I...I can't handle a responsibility like this... I mean I can barely handle the **** of my mo-" you cut yourself off "I... have to go." you tell her

You make your way to your cabin to see Percy standing outside, he walks up to you and asks "Do you wanna hang out?"

"Sure." you answer, not thinking much of it.

You and Percy make your way to the beach, you just noticed a six pack of cola and a bag of blue candy.

"You want a Coke?" he offers

"Sure." you reply, grabbing one of the cans. "I just realized this, we're kinda family. So I guess I still have family that cares about me." you say smiling

"Two things. One, no one is really family unless you share the same godly parent. And two, I find it nice that you care about me." Percy says, laughing

"Well, I really only know you. We have so much in common, both sons of powerful Gods, we both prefer Coke over Pepsi, and we had pretty bad expirences. That why I consider you family more than anyone here." you say, patting his shoulder

"Thanks." He smiles and you clink your cokes together as you get closer to accepting your mother's ****.
