The Goddess Revealed

Kallista teleports to the stadium where the Super Bowl is currently taking place, appearing in the middle of the field. She magically amplifies her voice so that everyone in the crowd can hear her and begins to speak, "I am Kallista, maiden of the stars, and goddess of freedom & change. I have come to encourage compassion and help humanity progress into the future." The sky shifts to a beautiful starry night and Kallista grows several stories tall as the crowd watches in awe. "I do not require worship, all I ask is that you forgo hate and intolerance, instead spread love and understanding. Bring about positive change and a bright future will be yours." The goddess vanishes, leaving behind a silhouette of glittering stars that slowly fade as the sky returns to normal.

She spends the next few days helping people around the world, instantly growing vegetables for the poor and hungry, summoning tidal waves to put out forest fires, and even turning domestic abusers into cockroaches. Reports of her appearances are all over the TV and internet, some claim she is the antichrist, while others begin praying to her. Eventually, the amount of worship gives her power that could rival her mother's own.

Kallista returns to the mansion that she had taken from Desiree and sees it surrounded by devotees hoping to see her in person. She walks outside and greets them with a smile. They swarm her, reaching out their hands to touch her divine form. Many of them cry and beg for forgiveness of their past sins, and the goddess responds, "Do not dwell on past errors, but instead use the present to do better and forge a bright future for all." She then gestures to the mansion, "This place I give to you all. Here you can come together as a community to spread love, let it be a sanctuary for free spirits who are shunned by those who are more devoted to order than to liberty." She vanishes in a glitter of stars.

She teleports to Emily's room and transforms into Khalus. To his surprise, Emily isn't there. She must be in the shower he ponders. Khalus enters the bathroom to have some showertime fun with his love and finds Emily unconscious on the shower floor.

The god runs over holds the girl in his arms, "Emily! Emily, wake up!" When she doesn't respond, he does the only thing he can think of, he closes his eyes and prays to his mother. "Mother, please save her. She means more to me than I ever thought possible. I know you believe this a trick, but I promise you that if anything happens to this girl, I will not rest until Volsona is nothing but a land of smoldering ash."

A moment passes before Khalus and the body of Emily are surrounded and consumed by a warm, golden light. When the light fades Khalus sees his mother sitting on her crystalline throne.

"Welcome home, my son."
