The Gene Editor

“The Gene Editor.” You say. Figuring it’s the first step in the whole process.

Aphrodite narrows her eyes and gives a slight smile. “Excellent choice, I think you’ll find it to be very impressive indeed.”

Everleigh shifts up, and looks to you. “Hey, uh, I’m gonna head to the bathroom before we do anything.” Looking down at her, her stomach is still swelled outwards, but not quite as much as a few minutes ago, cum has been slowly leaking out of her, and as she slowly and unsteadily stands up, you can see it running down the insides of both of her legs. Hot.

She looks back at you, barely keeping her balance. “You know, I don’t think I can feel anything below my legs after what you did to me.” She says with a giggle and a wink, and slowly starts to walk towards the bathroom, both hands clutching the railing for stability.

You hear the shower start.

“Scott, would you like the bed to be refreshed and laundered?” Aphrodite asks.

“Uh, yeah, that would be fantastic.” You’re not exactly sure how she’ll do it, but you’re interested to see. As you get up out of the bed, you see a little drone float upstairs. With some claws that fold out, it grabs the four corners of the bedsheets, and lifts them up, carrying with it all of the pillows and blankets away.

“Laundry and cleaning services are handled automatically in your new habitat.” The AI remarks. “You’ll be busy enough soon, and cleaning is an inefficient use of your time.”

Neat. “No laundry ever again? Sign me up!” You say, and Aphrodite lets out a giggle. You head back over to your closet, this time settling for some outdoor-suited clothes. Some jeans, some leather boots, and a t-shirt with a leather jacket. As you make your way out of the closet, Everleigh walks past you into hers, mumbling something about you looking like a “greaser”.

When she emerges, she’s wearing a yellow sundress and some sandals. “This shit is silk man!” She says, spinning so you can see how the dress flows.

You, your sister, and your new AI best friend all make your way over to the Gene Editing Facility. It’s still packed up, but with a push of the activation button, the whole facility transforms and unfolds into an exact copy of what Aphrodite showed you in the hologram. You make your way up the steps, and hold open the front door for your sister.

Walking inside, everything smells very clean, and the shiny white floors give the room a mild clinic feeling. You and Everleigh make your way up to the chair, and she gives you a mild nervous glance.

“Please, take a seat darling, this will all be very easy.” Aphrodite says, from her holoprojector built into the console on your left.

“Right now?” Your sister pipes up, seeming mildly confused.

“Just for test run!” Aphrodite says with a smile. “In order to secure our future, this device was created to prune unideal genes. With proper use and operation, genetic defects will be a thing of the past.”

Your sister takes a seat, and reclines as it lays back horizontal. “I feel like I’m at the dentist!” she jokes, prompting a laugh from Aphrodite.

You stand at the console, and you see three screens. The one on the top says ‘STATUS’ with a bunch of metrics, percentages, and graphs. The one on the left says ‘HOST’ with a bunch of buttons, but the labeling on them is grayed out. The one on the right says ‘UTERUS’, with the same situation as the host screen.

“Now, let’s begin.” Aphrodite says.

The large microscope-looking thing lowers itself from the ceiling, coming to a stop just a few hairs-length away from right below Everleigh’s belly button. You see a bright blue flash for just a second, and your console comes alive, with text appearing everywhere and buttons all adopting different colors. You read the monitors.

HOST: Female, age 18. Fertility: 98%. Status: Fertilized. Health: Nominal.

You gaze at the third line, and take a look up at Aphrodite. She gives a knowing wink, but doesn’t say anything.

You look to the second monitor.

UTERUS: Ovum present: 2.

Your heart skips a beat. Everleigh is pregnant with twins, and you only had sex about 3 hours ago. You realize she isn’t able to see this information, only you. You hold your tongue for the moment, as Aphrodite begins an explanation.

“Congratulations Everleigh, you are pregnant with twins!” Your sisters face goes stark white.

“Wait, what, already!? There’s no way, how do you know?” She’s definitely surprised, but you can tell she isn’t upset.

Aphrodite gives her a warm smile. “This is the most advanced piece of medical equipment we have, it’s able to detect from the moment an egg has been fertilized.”

You look to the screen.

Ovum: 2. Features: Identical.

Aphrodite points to a lower section of the rightmost screen. “Here you will see the predicted traits, appearance, and physical properties of the child, or in this case, children.”

GENETIC ANALYSIS:

Two detected fetuses, both female. When fully grown, both children will be identical. Approximately six foot one in height, 159 pounds in weight given an ideal diet. Hair color: black. Breast size: A. Overall build: petite.

“Now, if you like, you may tap on a trait, and pick from a variety of customization factors.” The AI explains.

You tap on hair color, and a large swath of hair colors appear. You look to your sister. “Two girls, adorable ones. What hair color do we want them to have?”

She smiles. “You and I have darker hair, pick something different, maybe a lighter color?”

You look down, and pick ‘BLONDE’. The Gene Editor buzzes, and a green flash appears for a split second, looking at the screen, you now see:
