The Gamer Abilities Full Breakdown

This is a hopefully complete background of John and his abilities as of the end of Season 3 Arc 6

Summary:

John Newman is a 19-year-old gamer, albeit his appearance and intelligence, courtesy of his raised Stats, make it difficult to consider him that young. In combat, he tends to weigh his options and try to calculate the optimal outcome. If he can’t find one, he is willing to gamble on the best odds he can find, as indecisiveness is its own road to defeat. His toolkit is extensive, consisting of numerous familiars and arcane spells, as well as mediocre physical combat skills. A number of items help him round out his build with beneficial effects.

John has short brown hair, is 1,85 metres tall, is of a lean, muscular build and extremely attractive. His fingers are covered in Lover’s Will marks, he has a bite mark scar from Thana on the left side of his neck, and black marks, like shadows of his bones, on his lower right arm, betraying a former Lorylim infestation.

Stats:

The system in this branch separates between Stats, Base Stats and Bonus Stats. Stats are the end result of Base Stats and Bonus Stats. Base Stats are the Stats John has in the absence of any non-permanent Buffs, so they are made up of what he invested through levelling and what he got via Achievements, Quests and the Achievement Store. Bonus Stats are temporary and often dependent on the Base Stats for calculation.

Strength – Strength indicates how hard the Gamer can punch and how much he can lift. In measurable mechanical terms, it increases his inventory size (1 slot per 5 Base Strength) and his Health Regeneration (1 HP per Minute per 1 Strength).

Agility – Agility indicates how fast the Gamer can move, his physical reaction speed, his flexibility and his dexterity.

Endurance – Endurance indicates how much the Gamer can survive. His resistance against diseases, venoms and toxins is dependent on his Endurance. Endurance also increases his Health (18 HP per 1 Endurance).

Intellect – Intellect indicates the Gamer’s logic skills. Pattern recognition, memory and reasoning are boosted by this Stat. Intellect increases his Mana Pool (15 per 1 Intellect).

Wisdom – Wisdom indicates the Gamer’s knowledge application skills. Mental reaction speed, deductive ability and character reading are all boosted by this Stat. Further, it increases resistance to mental control or damage effects. Wisdom increases MP regeneration (3,5 MP per minute per 1 Wisdom).

Charisma – Charisma indicates how charming the Gamer is. Looks, voice, manner of speech, body language and even fragrance are affected by this Skill. The higher the Charisma, the easier it is for John to convince people of his opinions and good intentions. It is not, however, mind control. Charisma also makes John charming enough that he can keep himself a harem without any of the girls feeling neglected.

Libido – Libido indicates how lustful the Gamer is. Sensitivity, sexual prowess, virility and sexual appetite are dictated by this Skill. While it has few practical applications in day to day affairs, it is highly enjoyable to have (provided partners are willing).

Notable Stat Perks:

Zooming Vision – Allows John to zoom in his vision.

Orgasmic Voice – Can cause pleasure by issuing sexual commands or (rarely used) begging.

Hypnotic Voice – Has an easy time inducing hypnotic commands (especially in women with a Lover’s Will mark).

Pain Tolerance – **** tolerance for all kinds of natural pain.

Emotion Aura - **** Emotions of the Gamer can be felt in an area around him. The intensity of the experience depends on the Endurance and Intellect of the person affected, relative to John’s. Can be toggled off.

Equipment:

I will be describing all the Attributes that may cause questions. Things that are blindingly obvious, I won’t go into. Things that are present on several items will only be described once. CTRL+F is your friend.

Vision of Calamity

Blessing of Binding – After having imprinted on its wearer, this Attribute makes it impossible for the item to move, unless the owner wills it. Should the item be left behind or lost, it will teleport to the inventory of the owner.

Phase Sight – Allows the wearer to view the world either as they are meant to perceive it or how they actually perceive it after illusions are identified. Useful to act as if fooled.

Focus Vision – For 2500 mana, if the Vision of Calamity is Possessed, the owner can mark a target in their field of view. This will cause the target to be visible, no matter where it is, within 500 metres. Only 1 target can be marked per lens.

Harmonized – Makes it easier to use the Possessed lenses as eye replacements.

Connective Gaze – Allows the wearer to see connections between an Abyssal and whatever familiar they might have.

Vision of Calamity – At the cost of durability, allows the owner to perceive a vision of the most immediate danger within the next 3 days. This will also inform the Horned Rat of the owner’s whereabouts and current ongoings.

Everclean – This item cleans itself.

Appearance Setting – This item can be set to appear in numerous ways.

True Sight 9 – Can pierce through most illusions passively.

Hypnotic Gaze – Eye contact with the owner can have a hypnotic effect. People under the influence will be more open to tell the truth, obey commands or be otherwise suggestible. Strength of the effect is reliant on Charisma and is resisted by Wisdom and, to a lesser extent, Endurance.

Necklace of the World Ender

Indestructible – This item cannot fall under 1% Durability.

Fire Resistance 7 – The wearer takes 70% reduced fire damage.

Elemental Resistance 3 – The wearer takes 30% reduced damage from all elements. (Note: Resistances do not stack, only the strongest one in each individual case applies.)

Wisdom of the Inferno – Allows the wearer to instinctively perceive fire and its movements in their surroundings.

Suit of the Chosen

Modify – This item can have the last 4 of its Attributes switched out on a cooldown.

Blessing of Gaia – Makes it apparent for all who can perceive such things that the person owning this item has Gaia’s approval.

Total Comfort – This article of clothing always sits perfectly and never causes any discomfort, no matter the weather or circumstances.

Shapeshifting (Shirt) – This suit can switch into a shirt and back.

Gamer’s Clothes – This item automatically restores itself to the same Durability percentage as you have remaining health percentage. E.g.: If you were at 75% of your max health, this item would always be restored back to 75% Durability. Further, any items you wear may fuse with this one, if transformation effects cause them to occupy the same space.

Millennium Trousers

Perfect Fit – Continuously adjusts for current state of genital hardness and position.

Unmoveable – Cannot be removed by outside ****.

Slotless – Takes up no inventory slots.

Impeccable – Always clean.

Loyalty – John Newman – Permanently bound to John Newman. Will return to him wherever he is.

Scent of Choice – Can absorb and keep permanently any scent of the user’s desire. Usually infused with John’s favourite cologne.

Local Protection 10 – Wards of 100% of the damage to the groin and the groin alone. (Note: Armour Penetrating effects may still deal damage and the item will take Durability damage).

Skittersteps

Teethed – These shoes are alive and have retractable fangs.

Adhesive Sole – Allows the wearer steady footing no matter the angle and smoothness of the surface.

Skitterstep – After using an ability that teleports the wearer, they gain a stack of Skitterstep for 5 seconds. Skitterstep can be consumed to instantly teleport two metres in any direction. After the teleport, the user turns Silent and Invisible for 1 second, interrupting enemy tracking attempts.

Slowing Venom – Bites of these shoes inject a slowing venom.

Lurking Appearance – The Skittersteps can hide their alive nature from mundane eyes and generally camouflage themselves quite well.

Adaptive Shape – The Skittersteps can change according to requirements.

Customizable – The shape and colour can be adjusted by the wearer.

Mind **** – The Skitterstep’s mind is enslaved to that of the wearer and will react to all of their intentions immediately.

Resonator of Destruction – Improves the Stat bonuses of the Necklace of the World Ender and unlocks advanced Attributes for Purgatory.

Purgatory

Shape-shifting – Changes between an armguard and a layer of black dragon scales that covers the arm up to the elbow. The fingertips are sharp claws.

Arcane Ascension – Once per day, the wearer can cast a spell as if they had spent three times their maximum mana to do so. Spells with flat cost will be cast multiple times. If Rising Annihilation is maxed out, five times the max mana will be used instead and the cooldown will be reduced to thirty minutes. Rising Annihilation will be reset to 0.

Separation – The claws of Purgatory are incredibly sharp, able to cut most materials with ease.

Touch of the Abyss – This item allows for ephemeral beings to be hurt.

Rising Annihilation – As the wearer (or their familiars) destroys surroundings, hurts enemies or kills them (sorted by rising effectiveness), their Strength and Agility rises. The bonus Attributes cap out at half of the wearer’s level.

Fire and Flow Ascension – A fire or water elemental can fuse with Purgatory. Doing so will not count towards the Elemental Item Equip Limit. You may also form an ice or obsidian sword, while you have an elemental equipped this way. When Rising Annihilation is maxed out, you may equip both elementals at the same time. This will cause Rising Annihilation stacks to drain, accelerating over time. You can still gain new Rising Annihilation stacks while the effect is active.

Unslotted Split – Any extra item temporarily created by this one does not count towards your usual Equipment restrictions. Purgatory only takes the single hand slot it was assigned to.

Cleansing Flame/Mist – Purgatory can be surrounded with an aura. The aura changes depending on whether or not an elemental has been infused into the item. The aura deals extra damage to Lorylim. If Rising Annihilation is at maximum stacks or is currently being drained, the aura can be launched as a ranged attack, recharging every 5 seconds.

Spellbreaker – Purgatory can destroy magical machinations by physical means, as long as the wearer can perceive the spell.

Mandala Sphere

Note: This one is broken, but the next one will be similar in most aspects, so… might as well.

Folding – The Mandala Sphere has several layers of shrinking metal plates dimensionally folded inside itself.

Immaterial Connection – The metal plates are connected to the core by non-physical means.

Arcane Flight – The Mandala Sphere moves using arcane energy. Extension upkeep pays for basic movement, which scales with Wisdom and Intellect in its speed. Additional mana can be spent to make the Mandala Sphere move faster.

Mana Engine – The Mandala Sphere can absorb mana.

Mana Storage 4 (Perk Induced) – Allows the Mandala Sphere to store up to 4000 mana. It can carry up to 4 spells as if induced with Spellcarrier Possessions.

Lover’s Will

Shared Life – Lover’s Will partners have their max potential increased to John’s current level. This is always an increase and will not overwrite their potential. Should the Lover’s Will break, the levels beyond natural potential are lost over a year.

Charismatic Lover – An additional max mark is gained for each 25 Charisma. The All Pleasure increases by 10% of John’s Libido.

Harem’s Love – Familiars do not count towards the maximum of Lover’s Will targets.

Experience of Love – Having sex with a Lover’s Will partner gives both of you 0,1% of the current level’s required experience for each minute spent. Only 50% of the current experience requirement can be earned this way each day. A later Perk allowed this to reset within time dilation.

Domination Pact – Allows John to in- or decrease sensitivity by up to 100%. Orgasms can be prevented without decreasing pleasure received.

Whisper of Mana – After killing an enemy with a Spell from the Arcane school of magic, mana regeneration increases by 100% for one minute. This effect stacks up to 4 times, for a 400% MP Reg increase.

Arcane Rejuvenation – Every time an enemy is hit by one of your Arcane damage spells, they gain a stack of Arcane Rejuvenation. Once you hit an enemy with a Technique, all stacks are consumed and you regenerate 0,5% Max Mana per stack.

Possession

Spellcarrier – A Possession can be made to carry a spell (aside from Possession) by paying an additional Possession Slot to take control of it. Each extra spell costs one Possession Slot.

Prized Possession – Unlocks the Extension Equipment Slot. An Extension is a chosen item, which can be changed once a month while in safety, that is permanently Possessed. Further Perks allowed it to store up to 4000 mana and carry up to 4 spells without additional costs.

Ambassador Double – The Extension can morph into an indistinguishable double of the user. The double can be set as the anchor for familiars, for purposes of operation range and teleportation Perks. The Extension has 100% of the Gamer’s Physical Base Stats and regenerates 1% Durability per hour, unless destroyed. The Ambassador Double has access to the Gamer’s inventory. Further, it can be desynced and be operated while the main body sleeps.

Observe

Ultra-Instinct Observe – Passively casts a weaker Observe at people in Aura Sensing range. This gives updating knowledge on people’s emotions and how much they like the Gamer. A proper Observe window can be opened at any time, without looking at the target. Although nearly untraceable, Ultra-Instinct Observe is warded off just as reliably as regular Observe.

Advanced I.D. Settings – The Fateweaver Class allows for more detailed Instant Dungeon settings. Making them easier causes less experience to be provided, making them harder gives more. John usually balances settings to give him at least some extra by taking away things he usually doesn’t need (such as Loot).

Additional I.D. Types – Through various Perks, John has gained access to Assaults (fights against waves of enemies on a preset timer, giving extra EXP depending on length and number of enemies slain at the end of it), Adventures (Quest-focused trips to Kingdoms, simulated and real), and Raids (Extremely hard and game-y encounters, simulating MMO Raids).

Loot Basin – Gathers all Loot won in Instant Dungeons in a Loot Basin that can be accessed whenever. Loot will be sorted automatically in the Basin. One item may also be enshrined, giving it a chance to drop from all future mobs. Loot chance is drastically reduced compared to the original one. Does not work for items of Legendary quality.

Fusing Rays – The individual Arcana Rays can be fused into stronger rays with extra range, width and power by intersecting them. The direction of the combined Arcana Ray depends on the angle of the intersections.

Blast Ray – If Arcana Ray is only active for one damage pulse, it turns into a Blast Ray. A Blast Ray deals primarily kinetic damage, rather than primarily arcane damage.

Magus Circuits – John no longer has an Active Aura Skill. Instead, his Aura is always passively active, allowing him to use Techniques whenever he wants. Increases MP Reg by 5%.

Second Wind – When John’s HP hits 0, he enters Stasis for 30 seconds. He cannot move or be hit while in Stasis. During that time, HP and MP recover by 1% per second. This has a year cooldown, which cannot be shortened by any means.

Harem Couch – Magical, unique furniture, placed in the Palace, that reacts to all wishes of the people sitting on it in terms of its shape and segmentation. Cleans itself and has a very comfy leather surface. Optimal for harem activities of all varieties.

Harem Party – From choosing this as the Advanced Class, the Gamer’s party mechanic turned into Harem Party. Every member of the Harem is automatically invited, can check their own Status screen, interact with John’s windows (except for accepting or denying things) and can access Guild Buildings (notably the teleporters) even if they aren’t part of Fusion or Collide.

Create Protected Space – The Gamer can create a Protected Space, which will last for a moderate amount of time even if nobody is inside. This effect can be renewed by John or any sufficiently able Fateweaver.

Beast Binding – Allows the Gamer to bind a beast to him, if that beast is sufficiently fond of him. A beast subjugated in such a manner is more obedient and affected by the Perks of this Class.
