The Frog Prince

Prince James sat on his lily pad in a pond not far from the Palace wondering if his curse would ever be broken. A wicked witch had turned him from a dashing Prince into a lowly frog to spite his family. He wasn't even sure how long ago that was now since it was hard to measure time when all he did all day was leap around eating bugs.

There was only one way to break the curse, a kiss from his true love. James would only know who that was as they would be able to understand him when he spoke, everyone else would just hear a frog's croaking. Many times he would go hopping after some pretty young woman calling out that he was really the handsome Prince James only to be ignored like any common frog would be.

One day though, things changed. A beautiful red haired young woman in a pretty pink dress came skipping past the pond.

"Excuse me, can you understand me?" James called out hopefully.

To his delight she turned rounf.

"What, you said that?"

"Down here!" James hopped excitedly towards her.

The woman looked both surprised and bemused at the sight, she knelt down to address the little amphibian,

"What's this? A talking frog?"

"It's me, Prince James" the frog explained "A wicked witch transformed me!"

"Oh, well now I think of it the Price has been missing for over a year now" Amy answered "I'm Amy! Jump into my hands and I will take you to the Palace. I'm sure the Royal Wizard will turn you back"

"No, the only thing that can turn me back is a kiss from you"

"From me?"

"Trust me Amy. If you do this for me I will make you my bride and we can live happily ever after!" the amphibian pleaded.

"Well, Princess Amy does have a nice ring to it. Sure!"

The gorgeous red haired woman picked James up, placed a kiss on his froggy lips and carefully put him back down. James was elated to feel himself quickly returning to human form. Of course he was completely naked. And squatting like a frog in a very undignified manner, And on stage in front of a large audience? Then suddenly he remembered who Amy was and what had actually happened.

"And that is the story of the Frog Prince!" Amy concluded with a smile. before sending James to sleep
